Third person pov:

"Haerin and Danielle."

Haerin just kept her calm demeanor. She didn't find anything wrong with it. All she needed to do was just work on the project, and she's done. That's all, right?

Meanwhile, Danielle beside her was seconds away from banging her head on the desk repeatedly. She didn't know why she was acting like this.

All Danielle could do was sigh, Haerin looked at her confused. To her, Danielle looked frustrated as if someone held her at gunshot to pair up with her.

After a few minutes of naming pairs, the teacher immediately went back to explaining the lesson barely anyone was focused on.

Time felt as if it was moving slower as the teacher lectured and asked questions if they understood while they just nodded yes while some students were sleeping peacefully, not getting caught.

Haerin was scribbling random shapes and notes in her notebook. "Okay, if everyone in the class understands, then it shouldn't be a problem I give you all a quiz tomorrow!" She said in her pitched voice, glad to make the students go through insufferable phases.

The class just wanted to get rid of whatever teacher that is. Even Haerin got annoyed, 'A quiz, AND a project to work on. The fuck?' She thought in annoyance.

The bell rang before the teacher could lecture them for their reactions. The students immediately ran out of the classroom, even half of them pushing the teacher out of their way.

The sight looked funny to Danielle, how half of her classmates seemed to have no respect for the teacher.

"Where do you want to work on the project? Your house or my house?" Haerin asked the girl next to her.

"Huh?" Danielle just replied. It was a sudden question she didn't expect. "My house or your house?" Haerin asked once again.

"What do you mean your house or my house?" Danielle questioned. Instead of answering, Haerin was seconds away from getting agitated.

"Where do you want to work on? The project, remember?" Haerin said, trying to let Danielle recall that.

"Ah.. right, about that, is it fine if we do it at your house? My parents have visitors tonight, and I don't want disturbance." Danielle stated, scratching the back of her neck nervously.

"I'm fine with that." Haerin said before getting up. She already packed her stuff. "Are you okay with coming at 4:00 pm?" She asked, trying to find a good time.

"That's perfect." She confirmed, "Alright, cool." Haerin said before leaving without saying goodbye or anything. Which left Danielle confused for obvious reasons.

Danielle quickly hung her bag over her shoulder and chased after Haerin. She caught up after a few moments.

"Hey! Why did you leave me there?" She asked Haerin, who was busy looking for Kazuha. "I'm pretty sure we didn't need to talk about anything more." She blankly said.

'What?! Just a day ago, she was being all kind and whatnot! Why is she suddenly ignoring me?' Danielle started overthinking.

"But, you could've said a goodbye or something you know.." Danielle said in a low voice, which made her feel like she was talking to herself for a few seconds because of Haerin not responding.

Danielle was left following Haerin like a puppy. Haerin stopped in her tracks, which made Danielle stumble a bit. She looked forward to find Hyein talking with Kazuha and Sakura.

She looked to her side and found Haerin sighing to herself and pinching the bridge of her nose.

She looked back to her front, and something clicked. 'So Hyein is asking Kazuha what that meant.. But Kazuha is literally Haerins friend!?' Chaos started to emerge in Danielle's head.
