28 - Cant You Confess?

Danielle Pov:

Right after Hyein walked in, she acted like we were committing a crime. The rest of working on the project was very awkward.

I'm currently walking home. There are so many questions in my head. Why did she kiss me? Most of the time, she made it clear she isn't interested in me.

The thing that's worse is that Hyein is gonna tease me about it tomorrow. How did I get myself into this again?

I sighed to myself. My life was supposed to go like this.

1- Study and make friends
2- Go to a good college, possibly med school.
3- Marry someone and live my life happily.

Suddenly, I'm all tangled in this mess. What was I expecting anyway? Life never goes normally.

It's worse that exams are in less than a month. Literally, three weeks left, God save me.

Hah.. even the walk home is tiring and longer than usual. I just wanna sleep forever and suddenly wake up having everything.

But that's gonna stay as a dream forever, if only life was very easy.

I approached the house gates, opening them. I entered using a spare key. I closed the door before admiring the gardens' view.

Well, that's one thing to be proud of, living in a large home with my parents. That's something I won't sulk about.

I walked to the double door wooden door, opening it with a loud sigh. I don't even know why I'm thinking so much over it?

I'm just praying so much that my parents aren't waiting for me. I'm in no mood for this. I don't care if I have homework or anything I desire to sleep.

I slowly entered in before closing the door. I sighed in relief at the emptiness of the living room. I walked upstairs, my bag hanging on my shoulder.

As I finally entered my room, I dropped my bag before falling face forward onto my bed. I closed my eyes for a little bit. Just to rest my eyes..

Well. No. I ended up sleeping.

The last thing I heard before I dozed off into dreamland was a ring from my phone.

Third Person Pov:

Danielle arrived to school all giddy with energy as if she had forgotten everything about yesterday.

She greeted her friends until Hanni, the short one, looked at her with judging eyes. Danielle just returned a confused smile.

"So when were you going to tell us?" Hanni started while Danielle just tilted her head more confused than before.
