9-Unwanted Meetings

Haerin Pov:

I was playing with the ginger ragdoll cat that was purring, now I really wanna adopt it. It's too cute. I got up from the floor carrying the kitten gently as it purrs.

I get up to meet the manager for a talk, I've met him a few times, his name is Yeosang and he's really kind. He's also a bit goofy. I went behind the reception desk as they already know me, me and the managers relationship as kind of friends.

I knocked in the door a few times waiting for a response as the cat was already having my attention. "Come in!" I heard a familiar voice say, it was him. The kitten meowed at the voice. I opened the door and went inside.

"Hello Haerin! My favorite visitor I see." He said in his happy tone, it warms my heart I guess. "Hi, Yeosang." I waved him back.

"Well what do you wanna talk about today?" He asked while signing some documents that looked like bills and rent. "Just a favor, since you told me I had one after I helped you that time." I told him straightforwardly.

"Oohhh!" He said in realisation after remembering whatever I said. "Well say it go ahead!" He placed his hands on the handle of a mug that was holding coffee in it.

"Can I take this kitten home with me for a few weeks?" I said petting the kitten that was technically asleep. Yeosang took time to reply but he finally got his answer.

"Of course you can! You can take Cookie with you for as long as you desire as you're one of our regular visitors." He said with slight hesitation. The cats name is Cookie? Nice.

Now it got me wondering who are the other visitors? I sound snoopy but who cares. I definetly don't. "Thank you." I told him with gratitude after standing up and bowing slightly.

"No problem Haerin. Just be careful with the kitten." He told me with a smile, this guy might be my favorite person after all. I waved him good bye and left the room with the cat.

I went back to the main center where the animals were located and the receptionist area too, they also allowed you to buy animal food from them.

"Hello Miss." I spoke to the receptionist who was signing some paperwork and handed it to a person who bought a bunny. Now why did the bunny look like a raccoon?

"Hello there! What would you like?" She asked me in a kind tone. "Uhm, so I'd like to buy some cat food." I said trying to not be as awkward as I can get.

She gave me the items and I paid. I thanked her and walked to the exit, before I could leave she called me. "Hey! I think you're supposed to purchase the cat!" She called out to me.

"I'm allowed to take it as a favor from Manager Yeosang." I told her, I would have been stuttering by now cause it got a few stares from people, especially my interesting sister.

I opened the door and left taking the walk home after that experience. I probably will never ever enter that place again.

After a few minutes of walking I reached the medium sized house. I didn't have the keys with me since Hyein was gonna go home first apparently.

I tried opening the door and it worked, so, Hyein didn't even bother to lock the door before leaving? I'll scold her later because luckily I don't want to wait for her to come home.

I entered the house and closed the door, I walked to the kitchen table and took a spare key. I walked back to the door and locked it.

I stared at the clock, it read 4:20PM. I put down the kitten on the sofa, the kitty was already sleeping, cute. I stared at the window for a while. The sun still shining.

I went upstairs just to sleep, I wanted to go home since school. I opened the door and immediately jumped into my bed.

My vision was getting darker as I drifted off to sleep, hopefully I can dream about frogs.

Hyein Pov:

On the walk home I expected to see Haerin waiting outside. That would be cool but no, once I arrived that short cat wasn't there. Did my plan not work?

I went to the entrance door and put my hand on the door handle trying to open it but it would budge. What the fuck? Did my sister get kidnapped? OK now I'm worried.

I used the key in the pocket on my jacket to open the door and it worked, yay. I entered and saw a kitten on the couch, on the carpet near the couch I saw two bowls, one containing water and one containing food.

In the food bowl I saw a tint of red, did this cat eat my sister? Holy shit. I put the key on the kitchen table and I saw a spare key on the table. Is the cat possessed?!

I ran up the stairs and opened my sisters room door a bit too hard. And when I saw what was inside annoyed me. My sister was sleeping like she was dreaming about the best thing ever.

Wait this gives me an idea. I could have some unexpected visitors over and she wouldn't mind! It's not like I have anything to do. Right?

I'm sorry for disappearing randomly guys. My schedule is really hectic making it hard to write. I've been wanting to write alot but I have to like babysit my family members. They're really young. Honestly my only break is being able to play rhythm hive lol.]
