Two additional chains get added on Akutagawa's body. One on his neck, the other on his other leg. They're long enough for Akutagawa to walk long distances but not long enough to leave the house. Only the basement.
Never on the outside.
Atsushi has the key to it but doesn't plan on using it to free Akutagawa anytime soon. He knows the diablo will want to leave him as soon as possible... Atsushi does not want that.
So, he will keep Akutagawa until he loves Atsushi. Willingly.
„Why are you staring at me?" Akutagawa asks in a bored and tired tone. His face was getting whiter each day because of no sun.
He spent two weeks here already.
But for some reason, the most Atsushi did was kiss and sometimes touch him. Never anything more.
As if he was waiting for something.
"Can I not admire you?"
"Admire what? I'm not doing anything" The diablo scoffs and Atsushi laughs at that. He sits down next to him and caresses Akutagawa's hair and soon later kisses his cheek.
The black haired man looks into Atsushi's eyes and wonders how someone with such beautifully pure eyes could be so cruel to him.
„I have an offer for you" The weretiger tells his mate and Akutagawa's (invisible) eyebrow rises.
„What kind?"
"You sister"
The second those words leave Atsushi's mouth, Akutagawa gets on top of him and puts his hands on the weretiger's neck. He squeezes tightly and is very ready to kill him.
"What did you do to my sister, you useless tiger. Where is she?!" Thed diablo yells and squeezes Atsushi's throat tighter. He's breathing heavily but no matter how much force he's using, the weretiger continues to smile.
In a quick second Atsushi changes their position. This time he's on top of Akutagawa except his hands aren't on his neck. Instead, he grabs the diablo's wrists and pins them above his head.
"Nothing. Don't worry about her. You didn't let me finish speaking" Atsushi says while Akutagawa's struggling to get away. Nevertheless, he's surprised when Atsushi lets him go and makes him sit by leaning his body against the cold wall.
"I will let you meet her. Here, in two days. What do you say, Atsushi? Do you like that offer?"
Yes. Akutagawa likes it very much. But he's afraid.
What if when his sister comes here, Atsushi will kill her? But what if it's just because Atsushi wants to be... nice to him? Can the weretiger even do that? Yes. He can. Akutagawa saw it many times. The kindness....
"Why? Why would you let me meet her?"
„Why not? But let's not question that. Do you want to meet her or not?"
Akutagawa waits a bit before he answers.
"Yes"

Two days pass and the diablo eagerly awaits his sister. He starts to get impatient and takes a walk around his room.
When the door opens, he looks that way and runs towards the two people.
Atsushi and Gin.
"Ryyuu!" His sister whispers, almost in disbelief, and opens her arms.
The siblings hug, just like in their days in the slums.
„Gin!"Akutagawa also says her name and is very happy for the first time in weeks. Months, even.
He hears Atsushi close the door to give them privacy and the siblings don't let go of each other until it's Akutagawa who feels uncomfortable.
They sits down on the floor and Gin wants to ask about how her brother has been. If he was eating enough. If... If what Atsushi did was painful or not.
She couldn't ask if he was okay. She knew he wasn't.
So the only thing she could talk about was the plan. The one to help Akutagawa escape.
And she does.
Two hours later, Akutagawa knows all the details of the new plan which was carefully constructed by Dazai and Ranpo. Akutagawa would wait until midnight and knock on the basement door three times. A new ability user who can hear through walls will then give a sign to the members of the agency and mafia who want to help Akutagawa. They would take care of taking him out of this terrible place-
„I don't think so" Atsushi's sudden appearance startles them. They both turn around and Akutagawa's eyes go wide. The last time he saw Atsushi like this was when he came to kidnap him. But then, he was both angry and excited to help him.
This time, there was only anger.
Gin stands up and protectively stands in front of her brother.
"We will save him. Whether you like it or not" She says but even now, she's starting to doubt it. She has a very important part in the plan and it won't work now, since she doesn't know how long the weretiger was listening.
"Yes, you will. But not yet" Atsushi says and what happens next is almost too fast to realize.
Atsushi turns into a tiger in a matter of seconds and runs towards Gin. He bites into his prisoner's sister's shoulder and Gin screams in pain. Akutagawa tries to stand up and protect her but Atsushi pushes him into the corner of the room. His weak body is almost limp and he can hardly stand so it's even harder to protect his sister.
"Stop!" He can only yell but it's too late. Atsushi's tiger form has his sister in his mouth and is holding her by the stomach. He walks out of the basement and that's the last time he sees his sister.

Atsushi doesn't come to his basement for 3 days. Akutagawa didn't knock on the door at the time his sister told him to. He was too shocked to do anything. He didn't eat, drink or sleep.
He was grieving.
His only sister, the only living relative that he loves, has died. She's been murdered by the weretiger, the person she once considered a friend.
He should've stopped her before she was able to say anything about a plan. He should've known Atsushi was somehow listening to him.
When the weretiger finally enters the room, he has a plate of food and a cup of warm tea with him. He places them before the now emotionless Akutagawa.
"You don't need her. You only need me. I will take care of you" He says in a gentle voice and puts some food on the spoon, then puts it into his mate's mouth.
He smiles when Akutagawa doesn't fight back and swallows it all.
The weretiger picks up the cup and helps Akutagawa pull up his chin so none of the liquid spills and pours the tea into the diablo's mouth. With his thumb he wipes the corner of Akutagawa's mouth where there was a bit of tea left.
„Shh... don't cry" Atsushi whispers to Akutagawa and the diablo looks at Atsushi.
He was... crying? He didn't even notice.
Atsushi wipes the tears away and tilts the prisoner's chip up. He forces them to make eye contact.
"I'm here for you. You don't need to be afraid. I won't hurt you, not like Dazai did. I will make sure you enjoy this life. Even if you don't like it now, I'll work hard to make you love me. Just like I love you" Atsushi says and softly kisses him.
Akutagawa lets his body fall into Atsushi's embrace and finally lets himself cry his heart out.
