It's a normal day.
Akutagawa woke up next to Atsushi, they kissed and cuddled for a while, Atsushi went to a job and the rest of the day, the diablo spent reading and watching some shows.
But why is it that when the door opens, instead of hearing Atsushi's usual 'hello, love', he hears meowing.
Loud meowing.
Akutagawa stands up from the couch and walks to the door. The sight makes him laugh.
Atsushi's standing with two cats in his arms, one dangerously small and one a tiny bit bigger and with scars on his body. The small, white one with a few pink strands of fur was very obedient but the other one with black fur and with the scars was having much fun scraping, biting and clawing his boyfriend. Well, husband now.
"Uh, Atsushi?" Ruuynsuke Akutagawa-Nakajima asks and walks towards him. He reaches out for one of the pets, but the cat with the scars scratches him.
"Ow!" He yells and quickly takes his hand back. Atsushi frowns and is about to let the cat fall to the ground but Akutagawa quickly takes it out of his arms and surprisingly, the black cat calms down a bit.
There's a third cat, attempting to climb on Atsushi's pants. That cat is gray and opposite of the white cat, it doesn't have fluffy fur.
"Why do you have cats?" Akutagawa asks his husband while petting the big cat in his arms. The cat's tail wraps around his arm and his heart melts because of how cute it is. A smile appears on the diablo's lips and Atsushi gets on the ground to let the white cat out of his arms. The gray cat immediately walks over and puts her head together with the white cat.
Atsushi walks over to Akutagawa and gives him a small kiss on the lips, later having to move away because of the black cat hissing at him.
"I know that my jobs are often long, so I wanted to bring you something so you wouldn't feel lonely." Atsushi explains and then puts his lips together.
"You brought me 3 cats?" Akutagawa asks just to be certain and Atsushi nods hie head.
"They were left in a box and I never met anyone who disliked cats. If you don't want them I can bring them back-„
"No! No, I want them. Thank you, Atsushi. This means a lot to me" Akuatagwa says quickly and lets the black cat go to the ground. With his hands finally free, he puts them around Atsuhi's neck and pulls their lips together.
"...you did bring cat food though, right?"

After hours of the cats loud meowing, Atsushi finally comes back home with bags full of cat food and pours each cat some food into their own separate bowls.
The diablo is sitting on the ground, watching the cats and smiling.
He was able to give these cats a home. One with warmth, enough nutrients... even a family.
Yes. He and Atsushi were finally a real family, and these cats were a new addition to it.
Suddenly, he feels someone's hand on his knee and he looks to the side. A blush appear on his cheeks and he leans forward, kissing his husband on the cheek.
"Did you name them?" Atsuhi asks and after a while, Akuatagwa nods.
"Yeah... What do you think about Yukio for the white one, Pool for the black one and Sonic for the gray one"
„...like from deadpool?"
"Mhm"
"Haha, it fits them." He sas and exactly in that moment, Yukio and Sonic put their tails together after they finish eating. Soic meows at the white cat and they walk over to the couch. They jump on it and later Sonic lays down, waiting for Yukio to lay down o her and a few seconds later, they both fall asleep.
„Awww, they're so cute" Atsushi mutters in a high voice and puts his head on his husband's shoulder. The third cat walks over to them and lays himself in Akutagawa's lap. They both know Akutagawa won't be allowed to stand up until the cat leaves and the weretiger laughs at that.
"Do you think you could communicate with them?" Akuatagwa asks out of nowhere and Atsusi tilts his head.
"What do you mean?"
"You're half-cat. Well, tiger, but tigers are a part of the family of cats"
"I mean, I can try?" Atsushi says and stands up. He turns into his tiger form and slowly walks and looks down at the black cat. He makes a small growl and Pool's eyes open. Immediately, he starts hissing and his tail is moving, signaling that he's ready to attack.
Atsusi attempts to calm him down but he quickly understands that the cat has no idea what he's saying.
He turns back into his human form and shakes his head.
"It's like we're speaking different languages. I think it's like Polish and Russian. They're similar and I understood a few words of what he said, but I wasn't able to get the entire context. Neither was he. I think he thought I was going to eat him"
"Huh, that's interesting" Auktagawa mutters and starts petting Pool behind his head. The cat immediately leans towards Akutagawa's hand and meows quietly.

After a few weeks, the cats have gotten even more comfortable in their home. Every day, Atsushi and Akutagawa were woken up by the cats jumping on the beds, wanting food but on other days, Akutagawa found the cats lying spread out on their bed.
On those days, Akutagawa felt really happy. He always loved having a family, and now he had two. Gin, his sister and Atsuhi and the cats, his made family.
He reaches out and softly pets Yukio on her back.
"You're so cute" He whispers and then looks over at Atsushi. The husband was still sleeping.
Akutagawa moves closer to him and closes his eyes after he puts their chests together.
He was thankful for the life Atsusi has given him.

It has been much longer than I thought it would be but finally, I was able to finish writing the cat chapter. This idea came to my mind the first time I finished watching deadpool 3 but I never had the motivation to write this chapter but today's finally the day.
I have no idea if there are going to be more extras. Probably a christmas extra, but that really depends on what my brain will picture.
Also, once again, Aku's grateful for the life Atsushi gave him because he never had a better boyfriend, so he doesn't know what a healthy relationship actually looks like and that a healthy relationship doesn't start with rape. I mean, I had to add a tiny bit amount of angst.
