Doctors Visit

You go to the doctor with seb "why did he not want to come"
Seb "I don't know it's not nice for him to see you like this he loves you so much and your struggling to remember him"
Y/n "I know I'm not his biggest fan right now but I hate that I know I'm upsetting him I wish I could give him the woman he loves back"
Seb "I know and he knows that, but you heard the doctor it may never happen but you are showing promising signs so let's focus on that"
Y/n "the stories help me I think"
Seb "well then we will have to keep telling you more stories won't we"
You smile "yeah even though it is weird being told a story about me that I don't even remember"

Seb "yeah I bet it is"
Y/n "but what if I fall in love with someone that's not Charles what will happen to him"
Seb parks the car outside the house "he'll be sad that's for sure but he'll be happy your happy, why do you ask"
Y/n "no reason I just can't imagine falling in love with Charles right now"
Seb "and you don't have to don't worry about any of that let's just focus on getting you fit and healthy again"
You sound happier "yeah sounds good to me"

You go inside and Charles is there playing with the kids. Charles "your back that was fast what did the doctor say" You look at him but decide you just want to go to your room. Charles looks worried "oh no is it bad"
Seb "no she's fine the doctor said she's totally fine expect the amnesia but that she's showing good signs she will get her memory back"
Charles "then why didn't she want to even look at me"
Seb "I think she's just overwhelmed she feels bad that she's upsetting you because she's not who she was"
Charles "should I talk to her"
Seb "no she'll come to you when she's ready"
Charles "in that case I should go I'll come check on her tomorrow"
Seb "okay I'll see you tomorrow try get a full nights sleep you look exhausted"
Charles "I'm fine I promise"

Seb "you better be just because she doesn't know or admit she needs you doesn't mean it's true she needs you so much right now"
Charles "do you think she will ever love me again"
Seb "she fell in love with you once I think she will again" Charles smiles but his eyes tell a different story and Seb can see the pain in his eyes as he leaves.

You hear the front door shut and go downstairs "is he gone?"
Seb "yes he is are you okay sweetie"
Y/n "yeah I'm okay"
Seb "are you sure" he nudges you gently trying to get you to talk "you know you can tell me anything"
Y/n "yeah I know"
Seb "so what is it"
Y/n "I really don't think I remember charles" You start to get upset.
Seb "that's okay" He hugs you as you cry "you don't have to remember him we spoke about this"
Y/n "I know but it's frustrating I want to remember who I am"
Seb "let's not think about it what would you like for dinner, don't think just say"

Y/n "spaghetti carbonara?"
Seb tries to hide his smile as this was one of your favourites and you always loved his carbonara "coming up you know some people say I make the best carbonara in the world"
You cheer up a bit "I'll be the judge of that"
Seb "I have no doubt about that" He makes the carbonara and puts it down in front of you "what do you think then" You taste some and then some more.

Y/n "mmmm that's so good I already know I want seconds"
Seb laughs "I knew that would be the answer, I made extra, have as much as you want"
