"Ugh, stop it! Move!" I yelled at her, shoving her forcefully. Since she won't stop dancing at me like a stripper, that's what she gets. I saw her stumbled back, bumping into the waiter who was carrying a tray of glasses. The tray went flying, glasses crashing to the ground in a loud, messy clatter.
'Oops..'
All of it spilled all over them both while they sat on the ground. Caily was a little too drunk that's why she didn't have control over her self anymore.
"Ugh, you brat--! Oh, I'm sorry, let me help you with that." she was about to yell at me but she glanced at the waiter and saw that he was cute so... there she is.
I watched as they both pick the glasses up one by one. My eyebrows furrowed when the waiter paused to look at Caily. They stared at each other smiling.
'Is she seriously- Ugh.'
I backed off from the wall I was leaning on to go and get her.
"H-Hi, I'm Xavier." said the waiter as I approached.
I quickly grabbed Caily's arm and abruptly began to lead her away. "Flirts aren't allowed here," I said firmly, guiding her to the open stairs the room had. But she kept looking back and whispering something to him.
"Caailyy," I heard her whisper back, her voice still reaching my ears despite her attempting to get closer to the waiter.
We made distance from Xavier and I could see Caily's huge forehead wrinkled and annoyed.
"You won't find him again." I said, wearing a wide drunken grin as I sipped more of my glass.
"Argh! I literall- hate you, he was about to talk to me- you know." there were loud and disgusting burps and gags between her sentence. This girl is wasted.
"You're just risking your safety." my smile disappeared, my mouth buried into my drink.
"H-Hmp.." she just grumbled in defeat.
"Let's go back." as I walked back to our spot, we saw Keane, Aiden and.. Lilith? The quiet and smart girl? In this party?
I felt a sudden push from Caily who was beside me. "Omg, girl, Keane's with Lilith! I thought she was study first??"
Staring at them closer, Lilith looked down most of the time and seemed a little uncomfortable.
'Was she forced?'
"You don't even know why, so why would you ask me?"
Suddenly, Charlotte came out a room with a guy and she saw them.
"Oh, hey guys! Hey Keane and Aiden and.. Lilith? Nice to see you here! How've you been?" she came closer to her while Lilith just softly smiled at her. Both me and Caily literally shoved our fingers up each other's noses to shut up just to eavesdrop.
"I've been okay. Thanks, Charlotte."
"Great! Okay then, enjoy the party!" she said before turning around to talk to different friends.
The 3 went straight to us right after Keane saw us by the stairs.
"Yo! Heeyy, girls!" said Aiden with his hand waving in the air.
"Heeey!!" Caily stepped forward happily and greeted them. They had started talking to each other while they only glanced at me. I even heard Aiden asked about me.
I saw Lilith just behind Keane also smiling at Caily so I decided to talk to her.
"Hey, Lilith. You mind talking?" I approached and leaned towards her to keep our voices heard. There was this American Pop music playing loudly in the party so it was hard to keep our voices down. Mentioning it, I now realized that that might be the reason why it kind of felt like a 4th of July party.
