"Guys, are you sure I'll be alright...?"

His face evident of struggling to maintain composure, the dread that loomed over his destiny cast a dark shadow over on his nervous expression.

Lilith's voice came over from behind him soft and reassuring, "You'll be just fine, Aiden. We'll be quick, I promise."

Leaving him with no other choice, Aiden swallowed a big gulp of his forming fear as his gaze fixed on the ground, contemplating to himself quietly.

His mind was filled with racing protests that were fighting to get out and I could tell from the subtle drumming of his pounding heart as if it was mine.

"It'll be just a few minutes, and all you have to do is to give it all the courage you have left." though breaking her usual attitude, Charlotte expressed her reassurance and courage in a gentle and patient tone.

I extended my hand towards his trembling shoulder, fingers brushing against his warm T-shirt. "Aiden, we know we're not in a dream," his eyes caught mine. "so there's nothing to be afraid of. Let's not assume anything just yet, yeah?"

He averted his gaze. "Yeah." as if attempting to accept the better reality he was in. I gave him a soft smile and final quick pats against his hunched back.

Keane leaned over to him, seeking to meet his eyes. "Let's go?" he asked quietly.

Aiden allowed himself to take a deep breath in as he straightened his back. "Let's go." the shivering finally absent in his tone.

There Keane lead on up the stairs with careful steps, Aiden attentively trailing behind him.

This was what we had discussed and planned, with Lilith being our guide to lead our way out of this unravelling mess.

Without a sound, here on the floor we sat in reverent silence as we drew our attentions towards the eerie athmosphere surrounding us.

The heavy air remained unpunctured and ominously still. Leaving us dubiously uneasy, as our tense glances jumping from one to another.

Caily opened her mouth nervously, "Can we talk now...?" her voice remaining a hushed whisper.

"Goddamit, your ass could not keep your mouth shut for a second, can you?" Charlotte's irritated gaze flicked towards her.

"I'm just asking! We're not really hearing anything.."

I held out a palm in the air, directing their attention towards the surrounding once again.

When nothing else was coming forward, I darted them a composed look. "Nothing." my tone firm though laced with a hint of surprise.

They raised their eyebrows at me, as if to keep me going. "Okay," I started. "Lilith? You wanted to talk about your plan?" her expression grew slightly nervous.

We patiently waited as she took a moment to breathe deeply and compose herself. "Yeah, okay," she began, glancing over everyone else.

"I'm gonna start off with telling you about.. why I've been acting a little weird,"

'It's about damn time.'
