As you stepped into the car your father had sent to wait for you, you glanced up at the dormitory building, specifically the glass wall of the floor you were just on to find Bakugou staring down at the car before walking away.
The tears on your face had just dried so you were trying your best to keep new ones from forming. The drive to your house was silent but not as long as you'd like.
When you got home Fuyumi was already waiting for you at the front door. You guessed that she got a call from your father after he left UA. Just another person that you inconvenienced.
"Hey Y/n, let me help you with your bag. I made dinner already just in case you're hungry." She speaks softly and with the kindest smile as usual.
As soon as she took the bag off your shoulder you pulled her into a hug before going inside.
"Thanks Fuyumi. I'm not hungry right now but I'll come out in a bit." You said with a sigh as you made your way to your room with her behind you.
"It's alright, just rest for now." Fuyumi comforted you as she placed down your bag next to your bed. You took a seat on your bed and she gave you a few gentle rubs on your head before leaving and closing the door.
You throw yourself back on your bed, letting out a loud sigh thinking about the days to come. Your father was never one to go easy with training and since he's mad it'll probably be worse but you'll just deal with it.
Turning to lay on your side, you slowly close your eyes, it's only about 1 or 2pm but you feel extra tired, maybe because you didn't sleep well last night since...since you were alone. Well you have to start getting used to it, you doubt Bakugou would want anything to do with you after what you said to him.
After another tired sigh you found yourself drifting off to anxious sleep. That was until you were shaken awake by your angry father. You sat straight up, eyes barely adjusting to the light when you see the outline of your father looming over you with his arms crossed.
"I think you've gotten enough sleep. Get up." He spits out at you while you rub your eyes, trying to fully wake up before saying or doing anything.
"Dad, don't be too rough." Fuyumi pleaded, standing in the doorway to your room.
"She's been asleep for 5 fucking hours." He replies, turning slightly to look back at her and gesturing to you still sitting on your bed. "Training begins right now. Get changed and meet me outside in 10 minutes and not a second later." He demanded, glaring at you one last time before storming out of your room.
You let out a sigh you didn't know you were holding once he left and held your head in your hands with your elbows on your knees. 5 hours? You glance at the clock that reads 7:30pm. It doesn't even feel like you slept at all, just a long blink.
"Dad can be pretty stern but it's just because he cares." Fuyumi tried to make light of the situation.
"Yeah, yeah I know." You nodded, getting up and rubbing your eyes one last time before beginning to get ready.
"Dad brought your hero suit from your school." Fuyumi said softly, pointing to the grey metal suitcase on the ground next to the door. "Maybe he's taking you out to patrol. That's exciting right?" She smiled, again trying to make you feel better.
"Yeah." You give her a forced smile, picking up the suitcase containing your suit and opening it. I haven't been patrolling with him alone before, so you were worried. "Thanks." You said to Fuyumi before she left so you could change.
After you got ready, in your hero suit with your hair up, you came outside and met with your father. Before he even said anything he held his hand out to you, with the palm up, like he was expecting you to give him something. You stared at him in confusion, racking your brain with what you had missed about the situation.
"Give me your phone. You won't be needing it any time soon." He stated, eyes piercing through yours. You were surprised for a second before obliging, sliding it out of your pocket and placing it in his hand. You didn't even use it that much anyway so it's fine.
He stepped into the car waiting behind him and you did the same. The car ride was excruciatingly awkward. You didn't want to ask where he was taking you so you stayed silent and so did he, and the driver.
Finally, we reached the inner city and saw villains attacking civilians outside a small convenience store. One appeared to have tentacles for arms, about 3 or 4 coming out of each shoulder and holding civilians hostage in each of them. Another appeared to be telekinetic, ransacking the store and moving money with his mind into his back pack.
Your father quickly exited the car and you followed, but once you got out he just stood there. What was he waiting for? There was an active robbery in front of him. He looked down at me with a glare, like he was angry that I didn't know what he wanted.
"You want to fight so badly." He said, then gestured to the scene in front of us. "Then fight." He demanded.
"But-"
"GO!" He yelled, the flames on him getting higher and burning brighter for a second. That caught the attention of the villains.
"Oh shit! Hurry the fuck up dude Endeavors here." The tentacle haver said to his partner still looting the store.
"Just a little longer, I almost got all of it." His partner answered.
You took a deep breath and ran towards them,cutting through the crowd, balling your fists before engulfing them with fire. Stopping in front of them to assess the situation.
"Oh thank god-wait, isn't that a student?" Someone in the crowd behind you murmured.
"Nevermind man. It's just some kid, take your time." The tentacle armed villain replied to his partner.
