"Oh? You two know each other?" Director L asked Jon. Even though Mikha is typically famous, it wouldn't be a surprise that people would recognize her already. But the way that Jon said her name, there was a hint of familiarity.
"Um, yes. We met two days ago," Jon replied.
Mikha confirmed by agreeing with what Jon said. "We met after my training was over, and he was searching for the cafeteria."
"I see. A real meet-cute," Director L smiled. "Anyway, I would like to commend you, Jon."
"There are few people with a talent like yours," Director L added. "I am quite impressed; thus I would like to personally welcome you to the team."
Director L extended his hand to congratulate Jon on his efforts for this session. Jon reached out and shook it.
"Thank you, Director," Jon said.
"With regards to your contract and employment, someone from the internal committee will process and discuss it with you later today," Sir Aaron stated.
Jon nodded.
"Now that that has been settled, I will now be going, gentlemen and Ms. Mikha," Director L stated. "More paperwork needs to be done, so I'll be going now."
"We'll be coming with you shortly, director," Sir Mark added.
As the three higher-ups exited the room, only Mikha was left, along with Martin and Jon. Martin sensed that the two might want to talk, so he came up with an excuse to leave.
"Ah, I have to get a couple of discs from the storage room." Martin stood up and proceeded to leave the room. As the door closed, Jon greeted Mikha.
"Hey. So you were listening earlier?"
"Yeah," Mikha uttered. "I like your vocals."
"Thanks," Jon said with a smile. "I like your voice as well. I like how unique and deep it is."
Mikha smiled. People would often compliment her singing, but she was happy that the praise was coming from someone talented like Jon.
"You're so good at playing the guitar," Mikha commented. "When did you start playing?"
"7 years old," Jon answered.
"That's really young," Mikha noted.
"Yeah. Mom is into music a lot, so she let me play guitar early on."
Their situations were almost similar. Mikha's father influenced her early on when it came to singing, so she could relate to how music runs through their family.
"So... that was metal," Mikha uttered.
"Oh yeah. I was supposed to introduce you to some recommendations," Jon remembered. "I was kind of busy preparing all those tracks."
"Then... maybe you can send them to me sometime?" Mikha replied, sort of hinting at Jon. She didn't really know but she just felt that Jon should be the first to bring up contact information and such.
"Oh sure. Here's my contact," Jon stated as he showed Mikha his phone number and his IG handle. Thankfully, Jon wasn't all that oblivious, but he probably thought that it would be polite to offer his contact information since they will be working together soon during Bini's concerts. It wouldn't hurt to have someone from the actual group message him about important stuff.
"I figured I can't just contact you on your public accounts, right?"
"Yeah. I receive a lot of messages every day from fans, so it's kind of exhausting to find messages from friends and family there," Mikha sighed.
