CHAPTER - 23

A week later
Dunk pov

"Please Don't forget the umbrella.....rain can happen at anytime!"

The weather clock started to alarm and I turned it off aggressively....didn't they get bored so say fake news everyday?....I woke up in the morning and took a quick shower and got ready for hospital....I finished my breakfast and left for the hospital....as soon as I arrived there my secretary handed me the schedule and I took a look

"Sir....today a new surgeon will join!" she said and I nodded

"Did you check his bio?" she asked and I again nodded though I didn't

"Okay...then excuse me!" she said and left

After she left I got up and went towards the window and while moving the window glass a little I looked at the sky.....the sky was full of clouds and a cold wind started to touch everywhere and suddenly I didn't know why but an unknown feeling that I felt inside my heart....I didn't know what was that....I closed the window and came back to my chair....I could smell the....rain.....

After that I started to work though I was feeling so restless all of suddenly....after a while I had a operation and I got ready for that....while walking towards the OT my secretary informed me that the new surgeon had already been joined and he was also helping me with the operation....I heard her and then enterd the OT

As I entered there suddenly I was feeling so strange....I looked around and saw few nurse and a young man was there....I knew it was that new surgeon but as I didn't check the bio....I didn't know his name.....as all of us were wearing masks and glasses so I couldn't see his face but he greeted me while nodding his head so I also greeted back and in no time we started the operation....it was going so smoothly though I didn't know why but suddenly my hands were shaking a little but I could notice that the new surgeon was so skilled

As soon as the operation got finished we left from the OT and the surgeon left from there while greeting me and I just nodded....though I still couldn’t see his face but his feature was like....I mean....it was so familiar.....I kept looking at him until his figure got out my sight.....after that I came to my cabin and got freshen up

As soon as I sat on my chair suddenly I got a call from the head of cardiac department and he told me to meet him at his office room....I left the room and went to his office

"May I come in sir?" I asked while standing in front of the door

"Yes...please!" he said and I entered

"Sit dr.Natachai!" he insisted of me and I sat down

"The other surgeon just joined today but as you already checked his bio you should know that he was a very skilled surgeon in New York for two years!" he kept saying and I was just nodding

"I heard he already did an operation today with you!" he added

"Khrub!" I said

"So you already met him?" he asked

"Actually we did the operation but we couldn’t talk....I mean we hadn’t chance to meet each other!" I said as we really didn’t meet nor talk a little

"Aw...no problem actually I called him also as both of you're gonna work together from now so I thought you should talk to eachother a little!" he said

"Khrub!" I replied

"May I come in sir?" someone knocked on the door

"Yeah please...!" he replied

"Dr.Natachai here is the new surgeon in the cardiac department....!" he said and I got up and turned around

"Sawddi...k......!"

"Swad...di....!"

While saying that we both stopped....our eyes locked....those eyes....after a long time I was watching those eyes but there was a change.....those were looking no longer soft anymore....a maturity and sharpness was in those eyes.....though those eyes were looking at me hatefully but I couldn’t help but I wanted those eyes to look at me ever more

Looking at the person in front of me suddenly the earth stop roaming around me....I got motionless...unknowingly my heart was beating so badly....it was feeling like it would be burst in any time....did I see S...of...t..y!

"This is Dr.Phuwin and.....dr.Tang this is dr. Dunk.....I hope both of you will cooperate each other!!" the head of department said and my thought broke

And suddenly I realized that unknowingly my eyes got wet....I still couldn’t believe my eyes....was he really there or it was my hallucination

"Dr. Natachai....?"

The department head again called but I couldn’t take off my eyes from the person who was standing in front of me while looking at the head department while fully ignoring my existence.....it was feeling like if I moved my eyes from him he would have disappeared again

"Dr.Natachai..!" the department head again called while pushing me a little and again my thought broke

"Huh?"

"Are you....okay?"

"Uh...kr..u..b!" I couldn’t talk

I couldn’t take breath...it was feeling so suffocated...I just kept looking at him....he was looking....so.....beautiful...

"Uh then....excuse me sir!" he said while greeting the department head

"Uh...okay....!" the department head replied and he left the room without paying any attention to me

Couldn't he recognize me....he didn’t even look at me after seeing me....I standed there for a while thinking about so many things....why didn’t he talk to me or he really forgot about me

Suddenly my phone rang and looked at it I saw it was my secretary I picked it up and left the room while walking towards my cabin....as soon as I went to my cabin she handed me a new schedule as the schedule got devided by two....she left and I noticed that it was raining heavily outside....I got up and went towards the window

After twelve years we met....but my heart was beating like the first time my lips accidentally touched his....unknowingly while looking outside my eyes got wet and I started to cry....as soon as I saw him I really wanted to hug him so bad....my inner feelings were screaming to take him in my arm and held him tightly....I wanted to ask him where he had been for these years....I wanted to kiss him for one more time and tell him that I missed him....missed him like death
