CHAPTER-36

Dunk pov

As my eyes opened in the morning I looked at the clock and saw it was 6:30 am...I slowly sat up as I was burning and  feeling so weak I didn’t know why...I wasn’t feeling like going to the hospital but still I got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower as there was someone for whom I didn’t want to stay at home...I could see him only at the hospital...so I decided to go...as I came out after finishing taking shower I immediately got ready then left for the hospital

As I arrived at the hospital I directly came to my cabin...and sat on my chair...and in no time Ms.Meena entered my cabin and read my schedule to me..and after that she left...I could get that I caught cold from somewhere somehow that I had a fever now...though I took pill still I was feeling that I would faint anytime...but as a doctor I couldn’t sick...I had to take care of sick people

I leaned against the chair and closed my eyes as I was having a heavy headache...it's been a week now since I returned Softy's phone...after that day we barely met...except OT I couldn’t see him much as whenever I went to look for him either he stayed in his cabin nor he kept checking up the patients in the checking room...and I stopped going to his office room as I noticed that whenever he saw me he immediately got mad...he couldn’t tolerate me and that hurt me even more....since he joined this hospital I never saw him smiling....didn’t know if he didn’t smile only in front of me or he became like that...I was thinking about Softy and suddenly someone knocked on the door

"Come in!" I said with a calm tone and as the door opened I saw it was Leng

"Hi...Good morning Dr. Dunk...!!" Leng said with a smile face while sitting on the chair

"Good morning...ogh ogh! " I said while coughing

"Hey are you sick....??" Leng asked

"Um...a little!"

"Then why did you come to the hospital today...you should have stayed home and rest na!!" Leng said

"Mai pan rai I took medicine already...!!" I replied

"Okay...don't pressure yourself na...if you need something tell me!!! " he said and I just nodded...and sitting like that for a while Leng left as he had to go for a check up...and I also started my work and kept working till the lunch time...and at the lunch time I got out of my cabin as I wasn’t feeling to do work that time also I was hungry as I didn’t eat at the morning

I came to the canteen area to grab something though I was feeling a little dizzy still somehow I managed to walk here..and as I came here I was looking around for Softy but couldn’t see him anywhere...so after looking for a moment I came to the counter to order food

"What you want to order sir??" a staff member asked me as I was still looking around and just standing in front of the counter and heard her my thoughts broke so I looked at her and spoke

"Um RICE AND OMELET!!" someone ordered the same food as me at the same time so I looked at the person immediately and saw Softy was standing besides me while looking at me that my heart started beating immediately...also he was so closed to me

"Here is your orders sir!!" the lady said while placing two plates

"Khob khun na khrap!!" as she served Softy said that and took it then immediately left...and I just kept looking at him...and suddenly past memories flashed on my mind...that I learned to eat the dish rice and omelet from him...he used to take the dish at the school everyday for me...but that time I couldn’t eat so I used to threw the food at the dustbin and just kept pretending that I loved the dish and he kept taking it for me...how jerk was I then!!!

"Sir...Do you want something else??" the lady asked that again my thought broke again

"Pa...Pau na!!" I said while taking my plate and came to the table and sat where Softy was sitting...I sat and looked at him but he didn’t look at me...though he noticed me...he was just kept eating quietly...so I also started eating slowly...and while eating I couldn’t help but looking at him frequently as he was making pout while chewing and for that he was looking so cute...that I couldn’t take off my eyes from him...and in no time he suddenly got up and about to leave but stopped as I spoke

"Di...diaoo!!" as I said he just looked at me but didn’t say anything

"Um...you didn’t finish your food na..why are you leaving?? " I asked as I saw he didn’t even finish his food

"And that's one of your business!! " he said with a sharp tone and left immediately...I always felt hurt by his word...wouldn’t he talk to me normally ever...as he left I kept sitting there like that and after a while I also left as I wasn’t feeling to eat anymore...he might have couldn’t eat properly cause of me...I was looking at him that's why he got mad

As I came back to my office room I took my dr. suit and again went to the check up room...and I could feel that my headache was increasing by the time also I was feeling dizzy even more...so I decided to returned home after the checked up though we had a operation at the evening...I didn’t think that I could do the operation...so I didn’t want to take any risk...after all it’s about a patients life

As I returned from the checked up room...I saw it was 6:45 pm...the operation would start in 15 minutes...and I already informed Ms.Meena that I couldn’t do the operation and she informed me that Softy told her that he could handle it...so I laid on the sofa as I wasn’t feeling good...my whole body was burning and I was feeling strong headache like my head would burst any time..also I was feeling sleepy and I had no strength to drove myself home...so I decided to go home after  taking a little nap...as I laid in no time I fell asleep though I was hungry as I couldn’t eat the whole day
