Jin Su immidiatly smiled widely, making the older's breathe hitch slightly at how bright the smile was.
"Come let's go, mianmian jie, Yanli jie" she called walking past the Jiang girl who also stood, she held the hand of the older Wen girl who was now standing as well as she reached her.
"Can I call you jie as well? Zhiyi jie?" She asked with a toothy grin again and the older paused for a second before nodding gently with a smile herself.
Observing the interaction, Jin Guangshan was deep in thought, the older girl was The niece of Wen Rouhan. The sect leader had multiple cousins, but this niece, the daughter of one of his distant cousins, he loved very much and favoured often above his own sons, even bringing her to events for the main families. The girl was also a dom, his daughter was a sub, if he proposed a marriage between the two, wouldn't Rouhan spare the Jin clan?
Just as the plan pieced itself together in his mind his wife hit his leg, looking at how the woman glared at him, he could tell what she was thinking, don't you dare marry her to a Wen.
The four girls, Jin Qingyang having approached them, were now conversing quietly as they walked towards the doors of the long hall.
Jiang Yanli was the oldest of the girls, at 14 years old, Zhiyi was 13, Qinyang 11, while the youngest was Jin Su who was 9, many figured her young age to be the reason why she was so open.
As they neared the door, Wen Rouhan suddenly spoke, "Why don't all children go play outside?" He suggested and the adults immidiatly incentivated it seeing the dark expression on the sect leaders face.
"A'han, take the young masters to JinHánGé*" The Jin leader ordered and most began to stand, the second master of the Lan and the three masters of the Wen remained sitting dispite this.
Qiren looked at his younger nephew as the older tried to coax him, "you can stay" he said and the older seemed displeased with this, but the bearded man didn't change his mind. So Xichen went to join Nie Mingjue instead, not insisting anymore.
The Wen boys didn't even argue just stayed seated as their cousin left with the other young masters.
Once most kids where outside except for this four, the Wen disciples closed the doors where they still overtook the Jin guards, and the Wen leader began to speak.
The main event had already passed, yet the jinyue hall was still in use, with the gentry leaders talking about whatever politics they pleased.
The children had most escaped the event that seemed too formal to be dedicated to them, and all sat by the JinHánGé - to some, these hall was a long gone childhood memory, to some, this was like a hidden place from a fantasy world they never thought to see in real live, while to the Jin siblings, this place was somewhere they played in often.
The hall was more of an open garden then a proper settlement, with stone floors and pillars surrounding it rather than proper walls. There was green everywhere despite the structure, petruding through the stone tiles and climbing up the stone pillars.
This hall met the yellow river, with a huge wooden gazebo sitting perfectly by the shore with railings and cushioned sits for sighting of the clean water streams. Some seats hugged the edges while others sat idle as circular cushions with similar circular one-legged tables to match. The gazebo had stone tiles leading to it, all the same square shape and size of most of the floor in the pavilion. The tiles lay on proper grass though, as the tiles came to an end allowing nature to take over the closer to the river shore.
Beside the gazebo, there were two swings, one to each side of the same, both facing the river. They had cushioned seats as well, long enough to fit three people with comfortable space, the seats were white with golden buttons for decoration. The poles which petruded the ground holding the structure up were golden and knowing the Jin sect many wondered if it were real gold. The chords holding the seats were of the same golfen material, with white cushions near the end to allow a soft surface for holding, the difference being this chords seemed to be made of multiple thin strings of gold or metal tangled together to form the chord strong enough to hold the swing and people who sat in it.
