Jirosé in 2019

February 26, 2019 was the day he became her boyfriend, only 2 months after signing the fake dating contract.

Jimin is a very good boyfriend. He's actually a very green flag, though at first, she thought he was a walking red flag.

He would always be affectionate towards her and he would always hug her, kiss her cheek, compliment her and when their schedules are hectic, he would still make time for her no matter how tired he is.

The year of 2019 was the first year of their relationship. There was still a lot of awkwardness and shyness going on between the two lovers.

Some of the typical scenarios you might encounter during their shared apartment, early 2019.

"Baby?"

Jimin cooed softly as he hugged Rosé from behind, his arms wrapping around her waist.

"Hmm?"

She hummed softly, trying to act nonchalant but the blush creeping up her neck betrayed her.

"I bought you something."

He smiled softly before handing her a small black box with a beautiful royal blue ribbon wrapped around it.

"Open it."

He smiled softly as he placed it on her hand.

"Wha-"

She tried to ask more questions but he quickly interrupted her.

"Just open it."

His eyes were gleaming with excitement.

She slowly untied the ribbon and was flabbergasted to see a beautiful shimmering ring inside. She gasped. They were barely even a month in their relationship as a couple, but he already gave her a ring. 

What is this ring for?

She thought to herself.

Jimin chuckled softly at her puzzlement and gently took her hand on his chest, near his heart.

"This is a promise ring. This is my promise to you that your heart is in safe hands. I promise to love you and give you the love you deserve as the wonderful girl you are, Park Roseanne."

He smiled sweetly as he slid the ring on her middle finger and planted a soft kiss on her knuckles.

A wave of love and gratitude filled her eyes and she hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Jiminie..."

She sniffled.

"There's no need to thank me, I'm just giving you what you deserve. I love you, baby."

He smiled sweetly, his eyes overflowing with love and sincerity. He gently began hugging her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Tears brimmed her eyes at his words. She had longed so long to hear those words from him, to feel this moment.
She had admired him since 2016 and now, it's 2019 and it's all coming true.

Everything just felt so surreal.

"I love you too, my Jiminie."

That was a core memory in their relationship, and up until their break up, Rosé still kept that promise ring.

Their relationship grew and became deeper through time. The more they spent time together, the more they knew each other.

Jimin found out that Rosé is actually sort of a crybaby. She is extremely sensitive and cries at the bare minimum. Her past boyfriends found her sensitivity annoying but Jimin was different. He found it endearing. He would always be extra careful with his words when talking to her and make sure to console her well whenever she feels down.
