She tried to speak but was quickly interrupted by Jimin's arms wrapping around her in a tight hug.

She could feel his tears wetting her shoulder and it tugged at her heartstrings.

"H-Hey.... What did you re-"

She was, once again, interrupted by Jimin.

"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have....I shouldn't have treated you that badly, I shouldn't have said those mean words to you. T-The....The way I treated you was.... HORRIBLE...a-and....and a girl like you doesn't deserve to be treated that way.... I.... I'm really sorry, I really am....Please just know that I don' mean any of the horrible things I sa-"

He rummaged through his words, sounding desperate. Of course, who wouldn't feel bad after treating a person like her so badly.

"What did you read?"

She interrupted, her voice dead serious and anxious. She had a bad feeling about this based on what he just said. She isn't too comfortable with the fact that someone had read her diary.

She quickly grabbed her diary on the bed and started reading the page which the notebook was opened to.

She saw what it contained and gasped.

"WHY DID YOU READ IT? DON'T YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF PRIVACY?"

She was FURIOUS, she felt as if something valuable had been stolen to her, she felt so vulnerable, her feelings laid bare before him.

She felt so stupid and cheap after knowing she had read that, even if she wrote that letter for him, she never knew he would actually be able to read it.

Tears brimmed her eyes as she felt her dignity crashing down before her own eyes.

He felt so guilty for doing it. He shouldn't have let his curiosity get the best of him.

''Hey....I'm sorry... I am so sorry, okay?''

He sighed softly as he wiped the tears off her face, but she pushed his hand away.

WHY DID YOU READ IT??!! YOU COULD'VE ASKED PERMISSION FIRST!!"

She yelled at him which made him flinch a little. He has never seen her this mad before.

He sighed softly, he took a deep breath first before mustering up enough words to apologize.

''I'm really sorry. I know treating you horribly was already awful enough, but reading your diary made it much worse. I'm really sorry and I hope you can forgive me. I just got so curious after feeling something hard under this pillow... I saw this notebook and I started reading it....I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have let my curiosity get the best of me....You can get mad at me as much as you want, I'll accept every single ounce of your anger....I also-''

He spoke wholeheartedly. At this point, he doesn't care about his fever anymore. After everything that has just happened, all he cared about now is her.

He was cut off by a choked sob that escaped her lips. The mere sound of it broke his heart.

''Y-You...P-Probably th-think I look pathetic, don't you? Gushing and all smitten over you like a stupid, hopeless schoolgirl...."

Her voice cracked as she collapsed to her knees and hugged her knees tightly, burying her face there.

'''B-But it's okay.....I-I... I know you still love her...''

Her voice was muffled by her knees and she kept crying, her arms trembling from too much emotion. Anyone's heart who would witness this sight would surely ache. Jimin's heart ached from this sight and he quickly knelt down beside her and hugged her tightly.
