Next day.

December 26, 2018

Both of their managers told them to meet them up at a building.

To their surprise, they saw each other in the same building.

Jimin was surprised to see Rosé's manager there and so was she surprised to see Jimin's manager there.

"Why are you-"

Jimin's eyes widened as he saw her.

"No, why are YOU here?"

She retorted.

"Both of you. Take a seat."

Rosé's manager commanded. His voice firm.

"We need to tell you something very crucial."

Jimin's manager spoke, his voice was serious, and they both knew he meant business .

"Let me get this straight. We want you to date."

Rosé's manager spoke. Her voice serious, leaving no space for arguments.

Meanwhile, Rosé almost choked on her own saliva. So did Jimin.

"WHAT??!!!"

They both shrieked in unison.

"You heard it right. We want you to date."

Jimin's manager answered, his eyes narrowing.

"We saw how you two flirted yesterday, and during the MMAs too...and we realized that you two sure do have a lot of chemistry. You two have that type of chemistry that fans would go crazy over."

Rosé's manager spoke authoritatively.

"But we don't even like each other-"

Jimin tried to protest but his manager was quick to cut him off.

"Quit protesting. You'll do it whether you like it, or not. Think business, Jimin, business."

His manager emphasized, his voice intimidating.

"But how?"

Rosé looked confused.

"You two would date privately, unlike those idols who date obviously, your relationship should be low-key. People love mysteries. In this way, people would go crazy over you two, speculating whether you two are dating or not, but you two should drop subtle hints. But remember, SUBTLE."

Rosé's manager highlighted the word.

"HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO DO IT???"

Jimin asked anxiously

"Two years. Until 2020."

Their managers answered in unison.

"TWO WHAT??!!!"

They screamed.

"Two years. Here, sign the contract. You'll get used to it."

"But-"

"No buts. Sign it. Now."

"But-"

"It's for your career, a public stunt. Go on, sign it."

With a heavy sigh, they both signed it.

Except, Rosé was internally quite happy...

"And.... you're moving in together in his apartment."

One of the managers said.

"Tomorrow...."
