I Think I Love You

They laid together in her bed, the tension palpable in the air. It felt quite awkward, the two of them sitting beside each other on a single bed.

"Hey..."

He spoke softly, trying to ease the tension in the air.

"Hm?"

She mumbled softly, her voice soft and quite sleepy.

"Do you think... I'll find the right girl for me too someday? "

He asked, his eyes hopeful and filled with determination.

She let out a soft chuckle at his question and smiled softly. He looked so cute like this, but of course, she knew that she needed to keep her emotions in check. For her own sake.

"Of course, who knows...Maybe, she's just right waiting for you...."

She smiled softly as she stared intently at his soft, gentle, baby-like features. Her was face heating up a little. She knew that her words hid a deeper meaning to it, something like an implication.

"You think so?"

His face lit up with joy and hope as he heard her words.

"Of course...and if ever you find her, what would you do?"

She asked softly, her face filled with curiosity.

"I'll give her everything I could, I'll make sure she won't  ever doubt herself, her worth and I won't ever make her feel envious of other girls' being treated well."

He spoke, his voice filled with conviction, his eyes shining with sincerity and determination.

She felt a pang in her heart as she heard his words and saw how he looked so sincere about it. How nice it must've been. How she wished it was her.

"Oh...she must be so lucky to have you..."

She smiled softly, yet it was kind of a forced smile. She wished it was her instead, she wished she'll be able to experience how The Park Jimin loves.

"Anyways, you might feel sleepy already, night night. Oh, and thank you so much again for comforting me."

He smiled softly as he closed his eyes.

''You're welco-"

She replied but she was quickly cut off by his voice yet again.

"O-Oh, can you um... Please? Hug me?... I just really feel comfortable in your embrace..."

He smiled gingerly as he opened his arms.

She smiled softly, her heart melting at his sweet remark. Oh no, she's falling for him again.

"Absolutely. Come here."

She opened her arms and he wasted no time in wrapping his arms around her waist, enveloping her in a very tight embrace.

Later, Jimin already fell asleep but Rosé was still awake.

She was watching him sleep peacefully in her arms as she occasionally stroked his hair and back. The thought of her being his girlfriend and him sleeping in her arms peacefully was making her feel large amounts of joy.

"I think I love you, baby..."

Rosé smiled softly as she rubbed his cheek with her thumb.
