"Does this make my butt look big?"

I looked at her with a are you serious kind of expression. Maya had asked me for the hundredth time. She eyed her self in the mirror, faces her back side forward.

She sighed and looked at me, "at least one of us looks good."

Maya was so over-dramatic sometimes. She always thought so low of herself but in reality guys drooled over her. For instance our friend Charlie, however she never noticed. She was very clueless. Sometimes, I got jealous of her absolute flawless complexion and amazing body.

I looked at outfit one more time. Since it was just a house party I was wearing a black crop top and some jean shorts. Nothing too flashy nor fancy. However the outfit complimented me well since I picked the jeans that made me look best.

Maya looked at me excitedly, "aren't you excited to show that you are dating Cole? I can't wait to see Nicole's face."

"And Daniels," she added with a grin.

I thought for a moment. I was indeed nervous. Not because of the show Nicole and Daniel who's boss but more because I had a bad but feeling. Deep down I felt like something bad was going to happen.

However I usually didn't trust the feeling. I mean, my gut feeling told me the answer to question 12 on my math test was c. But it was actually d.

Stupid gut feeling.

"Mm not really. I mean both of them know that I'm dating him. So it won't be a total surprise," I stated. Maya flopped herself on the bed and let out a sigh.

"Yeah but showing it to public will make her realize that it's legit."

I looked at her curiously, what the hell is this girl talking about? I mean, Nicole already thinks its an real relationship. Although her face did portray major disbelief.

Maya continued explaining after looking at my confused expression.
"Its because she's probably denying that you guys are dating right now. For instance if the guy you liked was dating another girl wouldn't you deny it?"

"Yeah but -"

She cut me off, "I have proven my point."

She stood up on the bed and did a little happy dance. I rolled my eyes at her smug smile, "her and Daniel are dating. That makes it invalid."

"No it doesn't," she singsonged. "The only reason why they are dating is to frickle frackle not because they actually like each other."

I raised my left eyebrow and laughed at the word, "frickle frackle?"

Maya had a mischievous smile on her face, "yeah I thought the word was pretty cute."

I laughed along with her, only Maya. She was the only person I knew who would actually use that word in a real life situation. I mean sure, friends say it jokingly but they don't say it randomly like that.

"Okay then," I drawled on. "So basically Nicole is denying me and Cole Dating?"

She nodded.
