The Artificial Bad Boy

Me and Cole have been walking around for quite a while - around an hour - trying to find a damn animal. Maybe me and Cole are animal repellent or something along those lines. There was no living thing in sight.  I could've left him since it wasn't my grades that would be tarnished, however because I am a wonderful girlfriend I was, I wanted to help Cole with his grades. How nice of me.

Girlfriend - ah - what a strange title to call myself. Honestly, I still couldn't believe all the things that happened today. It was as if it was all a dream. I wouldn't even be surprised if some tv show host jumped out of the bushes screaming "You've been pranked!". 

It was weird how things escalated to this moment. My life was always total shit. I mean, I was just a dare to a ex boyfriend I used to love, I hated a person in my friend group, and didn't even have the guts to express my feelings due to this bitch image I have at school. 

Suddenly, in a short span, I am now the girlfriend of fucking Cole Kingston? Who would've guessed. I didn't even like him that much before - nor did I give a shit about his existence. Now, I can't even remember what my life was without him. One moment he was nowhere, and now he's everywhere.

"Riley don't move." Cole froze in his spot, his eyes focused way in front of us. 

I scrunched my face. "What do you mean don't move?"

"I - I found a squirrel," Cole whispered. I followed his vision to meet the eye's of a tiny rodent. The lil guy was just staring at us with a blank expression while on its fours, ready to run away in an instant.  

I hissed at him, "what are you waiting for? Take the picture!"

I've been walking around for an hour looking for this thing with my aching legs. Cole better take some pretty decent shots of the squirrel. 

Cole took a deep breathe and began moving the camera up to his face. He adjusted the lens so that it would zoom in on the rodent. He was about to click the button when....

The squirrel ran away up into the trees. 

We were one second too late.

I am very very very very sorry for being way off the grid for the past four months. I'm currently in 12th grade and i've been so stressed with marks and university applications that I had no time to balance wattpad into my schedule. However, to start wattpad again, I decided to post this lil bit (not even a chapter tbh). I will post a full-length chapter some day this week so stay tuned!

But you guys are the absolute best, i've been seeing notifications flash on my screen here and there, which made me really want to write again. Thank you sooooo much! 

I promise to finish this book in 2017 so please bear with me!
