Maya looked at me with shock, her eyes wide open. She had been like this for a minute and I was worried for her. I debated whether or not to call the ambulance. I mean, I knew it was surprising for her to hear about today's events, but I didn't expect this huge of a reaction.

She gulped and finally began to speak, "holy shit." She ran her fingers through her blonde hair.

"You are killing me," I rolled my eyes at her exaggeration. The minute I told her what happened between me and Cole, she began to hyperventilate.

Her mouth went wide, eyes went big, and she looked like she was about to faint. I mean, I knew that talking to Cole was a big deal but fake dating him? That was basically deemed as impossible.

I mean sure, I couldn't believe I totally crushed Daniel and Nicole and the fact that I was fake dating Cole. But, i didn't react this big.

We both sat near the window, the aroma of coffee beans seeped into my nose. I just loved small town cafes. The walls were a beige color and the wall was lined with pictures of old rock artists. We both had our coffees and we put them on the table. I took a small sip out of mine since it was scorching hot.

Maya pursed her lips, "don't you think that Cole's up to something?" I looked at her strangely, I wasn't sure what she meant.

"I meant that he barely talks to everyone else but suddenly he decides to help you make Daniel jealous." Now that kind of made sense but from my point of view I thought he was just being really nice. I honestly thought that Cole was truly a nice human being, which is rare considering I was a picky person.

I reached for the cream on the side of the table and added it to my coffee.

While mixing it I explained, "he might just be a nice person."

Maya looked at me blankly.

"I mean it!" I exclaimed, "I think he might be one of the nicest people I've ever met. I mean he was really sweet, going along with everything I said. And he offered to walk my up to Daniels house."

Maya shrugged and seemed to agree with what I was saying. I was pretty good at convincing people.

"Fine," Maya said as she began sipping her coffee. Her phone began buzzing on the table, she picked it up and read the text. Her face began to blush a light strawberry pink color. I looked at her strangely, who was this guy? I mean, by her actions it was obvious she was crushing on some dude.

The wide, goofy looking smile on her face was starting to creep me out. Once she realized that I knew something was up she began to chuckle nervously.

I cocked my head to the side, "So who is this boy that you haven't told me about yet?" Her face went an even darker shade, she bit her lip nervously. By her actions I knew that she liked the guy a lot.

"Um, I don't want to say..."

I rolled my eyes,"tell me bitch."

She could tell that I was becoming impatient. She finally got the courage to tell me, "Trevor."

I laughed, then as I laughed even harder I realized she wasn't kidding. I suddenly stopped and looked at Maya with wide eyes. How could Maya like the guy Devryn was dating? That wasn't something Maya would do. She was a goody two shoes, she wouldn't like the same guy her friends dating.
