(20th CHAPTER! IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF--)

*No POV*

Y/n felt restricted. Not fugitively, literally. "Wh-?" They mouth as they open their eyes, only to be met with a room they would've rather forgotten.

-Flashback-

F/1 smiled, clarinet case in hand as Y/n walked (clutching their flute case) along a sidewalk with them. "That fight was amazing! Did you see how F/3 punched some rando because they touched their food?!" You smile and giggle a bit, "Yeah, I did! Though, I do hope dat person's eye is okay- dat waz a nasty right hook."
It wasn't often people acknowledged Y/n, finding their way of speech and attitude hard to tolerate. F/1 was their only friend, and even if they had two others to hang out with, F/1 spent the most time with Y/n. Y/n could never tell if it was out of pity, or if F/1 genuinely wanted to be friends with them. They lived nearby each other and the school, so after classes (band being the last period) they walked each other home.

Y/n was usually dropped off at first, and the pair should've prepared themselves when there was a lack of cars in the driveway. Hesitantly, Y/n opened the door to the small, tattered house that they lived in with their parents, only to find it completely empty. The pictures that once hung on the wall were gone, and any carpets or furniture from before had magically disappeared.
There were no signs of the house having been lived in. "Uhhhhhh, Y/n?" F/1 questioned before saying, "You might want to have a look at this..." Y/n took a small peek outside, and their eyes immediately widened. 'FOR SALE' was written on a sign near the door, but 'SALE' was crossed out, and underneath it was the word, 'SOLD'.

Y/n fell to their knees as F/1 attempted to comfort them. "They're gone." Y/n murmurs blandly, "They've left without me." They looked up to F/1 and asked, "Will you leave me too?" "NO!" F/1 was quick to reassure, launching themself downward to hug Y/n. They stayed like that for as long as the grieving human needed, before that same human got out of the hug and started shaking F/1's shoulders.
"You CAN'T tell anyone, got it?!" Y/n shouted desperately, "My parents probably forgot me, they'll come back when they realize! They CAN'T put me in an adoption center; not yet!" F/1, in shock, nodded. Their phone soon rang, and they were quick to answer.
"F/1! Where are you!?" Their dad shouts, "Your brother is worried, and your cousins have been dropped out by Aunt Cadince (Random name lol), and I need your help watching them!!!" Remorsefully, F/1 had to leave, leaving Y/n all alone in an empty house.

-Flashback End-

Y/n grimaced at the memories and what came after.

-Flashback (again, I know)-

Y/n stared off into space at lunch as F/1 walked up to them. "Hey Y/n! Have your parents come back yet?" It's been a week, and Y/n was finally starting to realize that they had been abandoned in their own home, by their own family. "No." F/1 winced at the response, realizing their error. "Oh... I'm sorry." The silence was unbearable, so for the first time, F/1 left Y/n for F/2 and F/3.
Y/n had successfully creeped out F/1, causing them to detach from the friendship they once had. Throughout the rest of middle and high schools, Y/n had lost all the personality they once had, becoming weak, and a target for bullying. F/2 and F/3 quite enjoyed kicking them when they were down, and had F/1 join in (even though they didn't seem to want to, they did so anyways. Probably for acceptance, which Y/n could respect).

Y/n was so focused on working for nickels and dimes at gas stations or mowing people's lawns for a few dollars that they hadn't even noticed the eerie vibe they were giving off. It stuck through graduation, and they racked up enough money for an ipad (now that they weren't paying for school). Their fame suddenly blew up when they posted an animation online. Y/n was suddenly rich (or at least, had enough money) enough to afford the bills, food, and a hobby. So, they picked up crocheting. Then, they picked up a Nintendo switch for the first time. They played Undertale for the first time. They animated AUs. They made even more money. They could live a lavish life, for once.

They had lost all the ability to feel and have forgotten what it was like when they could. Memories were slowly being blocked by the brain due to trauma, and-

-End Flashback (once more)-

There was a stomp that forced Y/n into focus. They looked up from the fancy pair of shoes to a person they did not recognize.
They had a labcoat covered in what looked like blood, and glasses which made them look serious. "How'd you do it?" Y/n tilts their head in confusion to the human's question.

"How did you travel to alternate universes?"

~Random notes I took so I could keep track of thoughts~
(I have writer's block lol)

*you wake up, go out in real world, get kidnapped, have a flashback of middle school abandonment.
[F/1 honestly reminds me of Killer or Cross. Flirty and jokes often but knows when to be serious (though when that happens, they're usually at the back of the group, screaming like a little girl). F/2 reminds me of Nightmare or Dust, considering their calm demeanor. F/3 reminds me of Horror- dumb and food motivated]
{Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance}*

Noice.
