He bite the neck of the woman and sips the blood in her. Alas, a fresh blood. He heard three knock on the door. Who would've dare to disturb him?!

"My Lord, it's Calius." His right hand man announced outside the door.

He pushed the woman away and wiped the blood from the corner of his lips. Seconds passed by as the heavy door creaked open. Calius lowered his head in form of respect and lifted it again.

"Speak." His deep baritone voice echoed through the room.

"My apologies for disturbing you, My Lord." Calius said in a respectful manner. "There's a report that the animals hunted by our hunters are disappearing one by one."

He stopped shaking his glass of whiskey upon hearing Calius statement.

"They suspect that it is an elves." His face darkened upon hearing who might be the intruder.

An elves. A fucking damned elves!

He tightened his grip on the glass he was holding so forcefully that it immediately shattered in his hand.

"Why would you report such nonsense to me?" He said in a deep voice, clearly irritated. Calius was wasting his time. 'The hunters can handle them. They're just mere elves."

"They're undetectable. They have no scent." Calius said.

In just one swift motion, his hands were gripping Calius's neck.

"So, the hunters are useless." He said in a darkened aura. What's the use of them if they can't even handle a mere elves! It doesn't matter if its detectable or not.

"We will have their heads tomorrow." He said assuring him.

"Tomorrow?" He asked annoyed. "I want their heads now." He said sternly.

He released Calius roughly and walked past him. "Dispose the bodies." He said referring the bodies where he drank their blood earlier before the news.

If those useless hunters can't do their job properly, he will handle it himself and make sure those elves are dealt with.

"Yes, My Lord." Calius bowed his head. He did not spare a glance or word as he made his way to the door.

The people immediately ceased their activities upon seeing him, bowing their heads in a formal gesture of respect and acknowledgment as their Supreme.

He walked with authority and exudes power. The vampires can feel the darkened aura as he walks past them.

"It's in the north side of the Sylvan Glade." Calius quickly caught up with him as they walked outside the manor. Vampires paused in their tracks, bowing their heads respectfully as they sensed the Supreme's evident displeasure.

"That marks the boundary of Noctrisrealm." His expression grew even darker.

So, the elves have the audacity to intrude even into his territory? They have never dared to trespass before; this is the first time they have crossed that boundary.

He raced through the forest with incredible speed. His movements were so fast that he was little more than a blur, darting between trees and leaping over obstacles with ease. The air seemed to clear around him as he ran, barely disturbing the ground. His legs carried him forward effortlessly, making him appear as a shadow moving swiftly through the fading light.

When they reached the north side of the Sylvan Glade, the silence was evident in the place. With his abilities, he could see well in the dark and spot things from far away.

"The hunters reported that after they gathered more animals, the ones they had left behind began to disappear." Calius walked ahead as they followed the scent.

There were various smells in the area, he recognized that they belonged to their vampires. However, he couldn't detect any specific scent that would indicate the presence of elves. He saw the blood of the animals on the ground and looked around, but couldn't find any signs of intruder.

"How could a fucking elves intrude here? What are the guards even doing?!" His deep voice rumbled.

"They can't detect the elves. I've never encountered elves this undetectable before." Calius answered. "Even Kaia, the best hunter, couldn't detect their scent."

He was even more infuriated by what he heard. Kaia is the best hunter in Noctrisrealm. She's from a family of trackers. If Kaia can't smell nor detect them, those elves are trouble. They might be using some magic for them not to be detected even with their best tracker.

The wind blew, and he immediately smelled the scent he had been searching for. He smirked.

"It's my hunt tonight." He said smirking.

He will surely have those elves head. He'll make sure to put them in his collection. He want them alive and suffer first before he behead those elves.

They might not smell them, but he can. They followed the scent, which was different from the usual strong aroma of the elves he had encountered. This one was surprisingly subtle, with a hint of vanilla.

"You're healed. Go home to your mother, okay?" he heard a soft voice talking from about five meters away from where they are.

He stopped in his tracks. Calius also halted upon seeing him stopped. A woman? A woman elf? He remained motionless even as he watched the healed animal running away from his sight.

"My Lord, it must be her." Calius said sternly but he did not respond to him.

He could see her shadow running away, wearing a long white dress. His brow furrowed as he observed her attire. Why is she wearing that in the middle of the night in his territory alone? She have the balls to intrude alone, huh?

His eyes turned a deep, blood-red, and his fangs extended into sharp points. His nails lengthened into deadly claws. He is ready to jump in front of her when the moon light cast in the woman elf.

The moonlight illuminated the elf woman's face, casting a soft glow over her features. Her long brown hair danced in the wind, and her emerald eyes sparkled under the moon's rays. Her skin had a radiant glow, and her red lips trembled, not from fear but from the swift pace of her flight. Her long eyelashes cast delicate shadows, and her pointed ears revealed her elf heritage.

"My Lord, the elf is running away." Calius said beside him. "She thinks she can leave alive?" He continued in a mocking tone. He can still catch up with her and can easily snap those neck but he don't know why he can't move this damned feet!

Do these elves possess hypnotizing abilities now? Did she use magic on him? He could detect no abnormalities in his body, and he hadn't been subjected to any spell or hypnotic influence. He's not weak to be affected by some mere magic or be hypnotized.

"Stop." Calius was momentarily stunned by what he heard.

"B-but..." Calius is not able to continue of the words he supposed to say when he saw the seriousness of the Supreme's face.

He watched her disappeared in his eyes. Even after the elf woman disappeared from his sight, they remained stilled in place.

He turned around. Despite the confusion in Calius, he did not utter a word and followed the Supreme.

Those mesmerizing beauty.

He had known elves for hundred of years, aware of their nature and their capabilities. Despite countless encounters with them over the centuries, he had never faced an elf quite like this. When he saw one, he killed them immediately. He could feel his eyes turning red with frustration as he closed them tightly.

Those emerald eyes. He could still vividly remember the elf woman's face.
