The Vks tried not to gape as they looked around, there was grass, as green as Mal's eyes, and trees that held fresh fruit of every kind. There were flowers littered around the gardens the limo passed by.
They watched silently in awe before Ana noticing the grey and blue sign with the words,
Welcome to Auradon Prep, goodness doesn't get any better
"I guess we're here, guys."
There was loud playing of a Band as the limo rounded off to a corner.
The noise was muffled before getting a bit louder and louder as they approached the front of the school, where a bunch of students waved their hands, some holding up a welcome sign.
Ana gulped, trying to ease her nerves. At the sight of the smiling faces of unfamiliar people made her uneasy.
This isn't the Isle anymore.
The limo stopped, making her feel like her stomach was up her throat.
She looked at her friends, who also looked like they were gonna be sick.
She inhaled deeply, nodding to them. "Okay, let's do this." When she got no reply, she chuckled. "Don't tell me you guys are scared?" She teased, trying to make it seem like she wasn't terrified.
Mal and Evie just cleared their throat, sitting up straighter.
"Pff- me scared?" Jay scoffed, before wrapping an arm around Carlos. "This guy has been shaking since we left."
Carlos scoffed, pulling a blue blanket to his lap. "I was not."
"You are.."
"I am not! You were the one who kept freaking out when there's a bump in the road."
"Oh- you little- give me- give me that!"
"Come and get it, you brute!"
"Uh-guys-"
The two boys wrestled, tugging on the blue blanket. Not noticing the door opening behind them.
"Oh! Ah! Ow! Stop!"
The two boys flew out of the car, still fighting over the stupid blanket, making the Band stop playing, when they noticed the commotion.
"You got everything else!" Carlos yelled from the ground as Jay stomped on his chest. "Why do you want whatever this is?!"
"Cause you want it!"
"No!
"Give it to me!"
"Ow!"
Ana looked at her unfamiliar surroundings before Evie nudged her.
She turned to look and her eyes widened when she saw a short woman dressed in a blue sundress with a bright pink ribbon on her chest.
She didn't even notice the two people behind her.
Especially the boy who looked at her with wide eyes.
"Guys, guys, guys!" Mal muttered to them in a rush. "We have an audience..."
Jay looked at the woman with a sheepish smile. "Just... cleaning up." He chuckled before taking his foot off Carlos. "Get up."
"Leave it like you found it!" The woman said, in a sing-song tone. "And by that. I mean, just leave it." She told them, seriously, making Jay chuck the blanket inside the limo.
Ana discretely shook her head at them, before locking eyes with the boy behind the woman.
He wore a royal blue suit that fitted him nicely. It was tight around his bicep and chest until it slightly loosened when it came to his sleeves and stomach area.
His brown hair was gelled and styled neatly at the top of his head. And his eyes... godmother, his eyes... they were hazel, looking green under the sunlight.
He looked so-
"Welcome to Auradon Prep!"
She tore her eyes away from his mesmerizing gaze, clearing her throat softly.
"I'm Fairy Godmother, Headmistress." The woman from before said, dipping down to a curtsy.
"The Fairy Godmother?" Mal asked, mirroring her curtsy. "As in... 'bibbidi-bobbidi-boo'?" She asked, hands motioning a wand.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi, You know it!" Fairy Godmother grinned happily.
"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella, when you just... appeared, out of nowhere..." She chuckled. "With that sparkly wand and warm smile."
"Oh..." Fairy Godmother had a bright smile on her face, at the praise and recognition.
"-And that sparkly wand. "
Ana bit her lip to stop herself from bursting out in laughter. "Yep, real discreet, Bertha." She muttered quietly, so that only her and her friends could hear her.
Mal gave her a small glare before looking at Fairy Godmother with curious eyes.
"That was a long time ago... And as I always say, 'Don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future.'" She said, using her hands freely, waving them around, before giggling.
The Vks looked at each other awkwardly before smiling at the fairy, trying not to let their cringe show.
Then the boy came forward causing all eyes to look at him, including Ana's.
"It's so good to finally meet you all... I'm Ben."
So that's his name... cute.
"-Prince Benjamin." A voice cut through his introduction, a girl their age with brown hair and brown eyes.
She wore a pink dress and a blue cardigan. "Soon to be king." She slightly squealed, looking at Ben longingly as the prince smiled tightly at her.
"You had me at Prince." Evie said, walking towards them. "My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess." She told them, curtsying.
"The Evil Queen has no Royal status here.... and neither do you." She told Evie causing the girl's smile to fall.
Ana scoffed, coming forward to defend her best friend. "But she does have a status back home, and just because we're in a different kingdom now, it wouldn't mean that title would suddenly go away..." She said, looking at the girl. "After all, titles are important to you as they are to us, am I right, Fairy Godmother?"
The Headmistress looked at her with wide eyes, before nodding. "Well- I suppose so-"
The brunette looked at the fairy, shocked. "But Fairy Godmother, she-"
Ben noticing the tension, laughed awkwardly. "This is Audrey! She's um-"
"Princess Audrey!" She interrupted him again, causing Ana to roll her eyes. "His girlfriend." She said, grabbing unto Ben's arm. "Right, Bennyboo?"
Somehow that made Ana's stomach churn, all she wanted was to rip her hands away from Ben.
Of course, she now met the guy who plagued her dreams, then finding out he has a girlfriend, who not to mention, is a bit of a stuck up, spoiled brat, who wants nothing more than to crush them with her heels.
It's ridiculous! she just met the guy a few minutes ago.
"Ben and Audrey are going to show you all around, and I will see you tomorrow." Fairy Godmother said in between the two, before breaking them apart, walking through. "The doors of wisdom are never shut!"
Mal and the others backed away as the fairy got closer to them. "But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00. And as you may heard, I have a little thing about curfews." She told them before walking away, the band following after her, holding their different instruments.
