Mal and Evie weren't in their room, so Ana was guessing they were at Jay's and Carlos's

She knocked on the door, looking around to see if anyone was there. No one was answering, so she pushed open the door, quietly entering.

All of her friends were gathered around the room. A video game was playing in the background, its controllers left unattended on the floor.

The boy's room were much cooler than her dorm, with all those different games and things.

But she wouldn't change a thing as she had a cool roommate.

"There you are!"

Her friends looked at her with relief in their features.

"We didn't know how to contact you." Evie said. "And we didn't exactly know where your dorm is."

"Sorry, got caught up, so what's up?"

Mal sighed as she sat beside Jay. "We need to focus! Do I have to remind you what we're all here for?"

"Fairy Godmother, blah, blah, blah," Jay mocked, still playing. "Magic Wand, blah, blah, blah..."

"This is our one chance to prove ourselves to our parents." Mal snapped. "To prove that we are evil and vicious and ruthless and cruel. Yeah?"

Her answered a 'yes' while Ana just looked down, reluctant.

"Ana?"

"Okay, Let's do this." Ana said, looking at her friends with a firm nod.

"Evie, mirror me." Mal ordered, sitting down on one of the chairs around the round table.

They all huddled around Evie who held her mother's mirror. "Mirror, Mirror on the- in my hand, where does Fairy Godmother's wand....stand?"

A small image of the wand appeared on the previously reflective glass. "There it is." Mal said, pointing.

"Try zooming out." Ana suggested as they couldn't tell where it was.

Evie nodded, ordering the mirror. "Magic mirror, not so close." The mirror zoomed out so far that it showed the entire planet. "Closer. Closer. Closer."

Carlos looked bored, backing away slightly. "Can I go back to my game"He asked awkwardly. "I'm on level three."

Ana looked like a kid in a candy store. "Can I try?"

Carlos nodded and was about to say something when Mal shouted. "Stop!" The mirror showed a building with a bright sign on front. "It's in a museum. Do we know where that is?"

Carlos quickly crouch down and looked through a laptop that Ana guessed Jay stole. "2.3 miles from here." He said, turning the laptop over to them.

Ana nodded, standing up and tying her hair. "Okay! That's settled, let's go."

Everyone began to follow the red head except Carlos, who continued his game.

"Carlos!"

Ana had a bad feeling about their plan.

And it wasn't just because they successfully snuck out of their dorms, or how they had walked all the 2.3 miles from Auradon Prep.

"Check your mirror." Mal told Evie, huffing out a breath.

"Is my mascara smudged?" Evie sent Mal and Ana a panicked look, pulling out the mirror.

Mal sent Evie an unamused look while Ana smirked, amused at the blue haired girl's reponse. "And while you're at it, why don't you see if you can find us the wand, yeah?"

"Sure!" Evie grinned before looking back at the mirror. "Okay... It's this way!"

The real challenge came when they saw the security guard on duty.

He had multiple screens all around him, his eyes flashing from checking different rooms after a minute.

He looked bored as hell, wanting to do anything other than watching an empty museum all night.

But what peaked their curiosity was the familiar spinning wheel beside him.

When the guard suddenly turned to their direction, they quickly moved to the side, to avoid getting caught.

"That's your mother's spinning wheel?" Jay laughed, as the white haired boy beside him agreed.

"Yeah." Carlos snickered. "It's kinda dorky."

Ana snorted, covering her mouth to hide her laugh. "I thought it be... spookier?"

Mal scoffed, trying to defend her mother. "It's magic, it doesn't have to look scary."

Ana chuckled. "Sure, whatever you say, Bertha."

Mal glared at the redhead. "I told you not to call me that!"

Ana shrugged at her, smirk on her lips.

Mal took a deep breath, opening up her mother's spell book. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim, prick a finger."

But nothing happened, the guard was still checking the cameras, leaning back his chair with sigh.

The three VKs laughed quietly, while Evie smiled, not wanting to upset Mal.

"Wow, scary." Ana fakely coughed.

"Impressive." Jay mocked.

"I got chills." Carlos deadpanned.

"Oh, stop it you guys, Mal's trying." Evie said, trying not to laugh.

Mal rolled her eyes and huffed, frustrated. "Okay, you know what?" She snapped, opening another page. "Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep."

Suddenly, the guard stood up, and in his trance-like state, walked toward the spinning wheel, then pricking his finger.

Tiny green sparks flew as the needle met under his skin. He looked at his finger for a moment before yawning, stretching his arms.

He sat down the platform, before laying down below the artifact.

Mal gasped quietly, amazed as her friends. "Not so dorky now, huh?" She said smugly, opening the door.

But it was locked shut.

Ana shut her eyes and pressed her lips in a straight line. "Great..."

Could this day get any worse.

Jay placed a hand on both Ana and Mal's shoulders. "Stand back." He smirked, backing away from the group.

Mal quickly opened her spell book again. "Make it easy, make it quick. Open up without a kick."

The doors magically opened, but Jay was too late. He used his force to try and kick down the door with a yell.

Open a door that was already open.

Ana laughed loudly when Jay hit the ground with a thud. She shook her head, stepping inside.

The others laughed and followed after her. "Coming?"

Evie followed after the girls while Carlos tried to help Jay up.

"Come on, Jay-"

"I'm good!" Jay stood up quickly, not wanting to accept his help.

Carlos held his hands up in surrender. "Just trying to help."

The VKs creeped in the museum quietly, not wanting to wake the guard up.

"So close!" Evie whispered, leading the way. "Upstairs, come on!"

They rushed up the stairs, each of them muttering encouragements.

And when they finally reached the top, they froze at the sight.

The sight of their parents in front of them.
