A journey of two broken souls who wanted to cherish their lives with one whom they love, who wanted to marry their loved ones and spend their life with them. But they can't because destiny has something else planned for them.
"Shreya!! Get up it's already 6 a.m." Nikhil was trying to wake her up for the past 10 minutes, but she was still sleeping like a dead person.
Having no other option, he came to her side, sat beside her and started shaking her shoulders lightly in order to wake her up.
Feeling a touch on her shoulder, her eyes flew open. Seeing Nikhil sitting beside her, she became alerted and sat up immediately looking at him confused.
"Good morning. You asked me to wake you up early." Seeing her confused expression, he explained to her.
Listening to him, her eyes widened thinking she again got late, but breathed a sigh of relief, taking a glance at the clock. It was only 6:15a.m.
Saying a small thank you and wishing him back, she made her way to the bathroom to get ready for the day while Nikhil went to his home gym for much needed exercise. Due to the wedding and its functions, he didn't get any time for himself and the gym. And as per his mother's order, hadn't gone to the office for a week.
Shreya came out after taking a bath, already in a peach and pink suit with golden embroidery over it. After doing a little makeup which included applying kohl, blush, mascara and lipstick, which was also too much for a person who only applies Kohl and lip tint, she went downstairs.
Today she was going to her home after breakfast for the 'Pag Phera' ritual. (It is a ritual in which a married daughter comes back home for the first time after marriage).

She went straight to the kitchen, Reena was already there making tea.
" Good morning Mom." Shreya said gaining her attention.
"Morning beta. My daughter is looking so beautiful just like a princess." Reena said patting her cheeks.
"What should I make for breakfast?"
" Just make a sweet dish, rest all will be prepared by helpers and call me if you need any help." Saying this she went from the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Shreya started making Gajrela (Carrot halwa/ pudding), the only sweet dish she learnt from her mother, because of the continuous persistence from her. To say that she knows cooking would be a big fat lie. She was thankful that her mother in law didn't ask her to prepare whole breakfast or else she would be left embarrassed in front of everyone, letting her parents down.
She very well knows, every action of a person is directly related to the upbringing they had. Questions are always thrown upon parents for every wrong deed or mistake done by child. Even though she knows, her in-laws are very nice and would never say anything to her, but she can't afford to make a single mistake which might make her parents embarrass because of her.
She had always made decisions, thinking about its repercussions which might her parents and family have to face. She hasn't done a single thing in her life which might hurt them, even if it means sacrificing her dreams and wounding her own heart in that process.
