Like a movie, the memories fade

Hannah looked down, her vision blurred by the tears that refused to stop. Each drop felt heavier than the last, soaking into the fabric of her shirt. The words still echoed in her mind, sharp and clear.
She had never imagined that hearing them would feel like this like someone had reached into her chest and squeezed until there was nothing left but pain.
Her hands trembled as she clutched the edge of the table, trying to ground herself in the midst of the devastation.
The room around her seemed to fade, leaving only the sound of her broken sobs and the ache that refused to let go.
She couldn't stabilize herself, she missed Mason's presence. He knew how to handle the situation unlike her who didn't know how to handle the situation for a few hours.
Hannah stood frozen, her eyes blank as the scene unfolded before her. The voices around her blended into a distant hum, their words slipping through her grasp like sand.
She tried to focus, to make sense of what was happening, but her thoughts were tangled, trapped in a fog of confusion and dread.
Every sound seemed muffled, every movement around her slow and distorted. It was as if a heavy shadow had settled over her mind, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free from its grip.
Her vision began to blur, dark spots creeping into the corners of her sight. She felt her legs weaken, the emptiness in her stomach gnawing at her insides.
The world around her seemed to sway as her body, deprived of food and energy, finally gave in.
She tried to steady herself, but before she could make sense of what was happening, everything went black,
...and she collapsed.
Hannah sighed, frustration building up inside her until it felt like a physical weight pressing down on her. The negativity in her mind swirled like a storm, making her want to tear her hair out just to feel some kind of release from it all.
Hannah sat by the window, watching the raindrops trace patterns on the glass. The world outside seemed so far away, as if it belonged to a different life altogether.
Inside, her mind was a maze of memories she wished she could forget. Every corner held a fragment of her past, a painful reminder of the trauma she had tried so hard to bury.
The weight of it pressed down on her chest, making it hard to breathe. Sometimes, it felt like she was drowning in it, with no one to pull her out.
She wondered if the ache would ever fade, or if it would always be there, lurking in the shadows of her mind. Some days were better than others, but on days like this, the sadness was overwhelming.
It seeped into every part of her, turning even the simplest tasks into insurmountable challenges. The world outside moved on, but inside, Hannah felt stuck in a moment that had long passed, trapped by the echoes of her pain.
Her thoughts spiraled into a familiar darkness, one where hope seemed like a distant memory.
The loneliness was suffocating, even when she was surrounded by people. No one could see the battles she fought within herself.
No one understood the scars she carried. They told her to move on, to let go, but they didn’t know how hard it was. They didn’t know that sometimes, the past holds on tighter than you can let go.
