We are all the same but hurt different
I heard when you cry, it rains in heaven
I won't let you fall down
Unless you're in my arms
Only in my arms

Hannah was surprised and that was evident on her face.

The room fell silent for a moment before everyone burst into laughter.

Hannah froze, her sleepy eyes widening in shock as she took in the sight of her entire family standing in her room.

"Mason? Parker? Mom? Dad? What... How..." she stammered, her voice trailing off in disbelief.

Parker stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her in a warm embrace. "Surprise, we all missed you."

Hannah's eyes welled up with tears as she hugged him back, her heart swelling with a mixture of joy and disbelief. She pulled back slightly to look at each of them, still trying to process that they were really here, in her apartment.

Her mother, tears in her eyes, stepped forward next, cupping her daughter's face in her hands. "We couldn't stay away any longer. We wanted to see you, sweetheart."

Mason, grinning from ear to ear, finally had his turn to give his sister a tight hug. "We just saw each other but still."

Hannah wiped away a tear, her emotions overwhelming her. "I can't believe you all came. This is... this is the best surprise ever."

Jihye, who had been watching the reunion with a satisfied smile, finally spoke up.
"I told you it would be worth it."

Hannah looked at her friend, her eyes full of gratitude.
"You knew all along, didn't you?" Jihye just winked.

"Of course. What are friends for?"

Hannah barely had time to register what was happening before she was pulled from the warmth of her bed and out into the living room.

Her body protested the sudden loss of comfort, but as she settled onto the worn couch, surrounded by her family in the cramped space, a different kind of warmth began to spread.

It wasn't the softness of her bed, but the quiet, reassuring presence of those she loved. The laughter, the shared glances, and the simple act of being together made the sacrifice of sleep seem worth it.

Soon enough Jihye left to the cafe saying that she has to prepare interview reports as their parents were well settled in watching TV on the living room.

Hannah sat at her piano, the soft notes filling the quiet room of her's. She was deep in thought, the music her only companion as she tried to work through a melody that had been stuck in her mind all day. The silence was comforting, but also a little lonely.

Just then, the door creaked open, and she turned to see Mason stepping inside with a warm smile on his face.
"Hey," he greeted, his voice gentle yet teasing.
"You still locked in your little music world?"

Hannah couldn't help but smile back, the sight of her elder brother always bringing a sense of comfort.
"You know me," she replied,
"Music never leaves my mind."

Before she could say anything more, Parker bounded into the room, his energy palpable.
"Hannah! Look who we found!" he exclaimed, pointing at Mason as if he were some long-lost treasure.

Mason rolled his eyes playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm here. Now, where's the food? You promised us something good whenever we all meet up again."

Hannah laughed, the sound light and unguarded, as she stood up from the piano.
"I didn't promise anything, but I guess I can whip something up."
