Scylla? My heart freezes. I can't think. I don't even know what to say. I don't think I can breathe. I grip my head. Screams flood into my ears. It's all coming back. The blood spilled. The mallice of me. Everything.

"Hector? Hector. Wait. Please." She reaches out.

I throw my sword at her.

"Are you serious? Scylla?" I ask.

"Yes. Please help me. You said you would." She says.

"That was before you said it was Scylla." I say.

Anubis and Seth growl. She draws back.

"It's not impossible." She says.

"Yeah, it kind of is." I turn.

I slam open the doors to the great hall. They look at me.

"Hector wait!" Cece calls after me.

"Hector? What's going on?" Quirin asks.

I turn to King Fredrick and Queen Airana. They're doomed. Corona is doomed.

"I know the monster that you face." I say.

"And what is that?" Queen Airana asks.

"It's Scylla." I say.

Everyone gasps.

"Scylla? As in the man-eating monster Scylla?" Rapunzel asks.

I nod.

"Oh mama. I was expecting a sea serpent." Eugene says.

I look down.

"What hope is there?" King Edmund asks.

"It's not looking good." I say.

Scylla is worse than anything I have ever faced. Her eyes. Her snake heads. Her size. Everything. I remember the bloodshed. I remember her words. I saw the bloodlust. Everyone looks down. I let out a breath. Corona is doomed.

"But you injured her." Cece says.

"You did?" King Fredrick's eyes light up.

"You injured Scylla?" King Edmund smiles.

"Injured is a strong word." I point out.

"Hector! That is brilliant!" King Edmund puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Okay... I can see where this is going, but I am never going back." I say.

"But your Corona's last hope." King Fredrick asks.

"Your Majesty the Prophet is here." Captain walks in.
