"Hector if Scylla's lair is on the water, shouldn't we go for the ocean?" Rapunzel asks.
I turn to her. I turn to the ocean side. I bite my lip. The sea, the ocean, the water... I'm not afraid of it. I'm afraid of who rules it. Poseidon, earthshaker, sinker of ships. I know his wrath and destruction. I draw back. I never have touched the water in twenty years. A god's grudge is ever lasting.
"There's a shortcut in the land. It'll save us a couple of days." I say.
"Well... you do know this best." Rapunzel nods and hops into the Caravan.
I look at it. I see bags of food which Lance pulls onto it.
"We need to travel light." I say walking over.
"What? Why? We need food to survive." Lance says.
"Do we really need all that?" I raise an eyebrow.
"He has a point Lance that looks like a lot." Eugene points out.
"Oh come on Eugene." Lance says.
I roll my eyes. I walk forward.
"It'll only slow us down." I say.
"Come on man, it's just a little." Lance says.
I grab him. I throw him onto the ground. I slam my food onto his chest.
"Whoa! Hector!" King Edmund yells.
"Okay, okay, okay. You win." Lance says.
I remove my foot. I turn.
"Come on. We need to go." I say.
I get onto Ibis. Cece sits on top of Ibis as well.
"Couldn't you be in the Caravan?" I ask.
She wraps her hands around my waist.
"I like this better." She says.
