"Are you okay Hector?" King Edmund asks me.
"I'm fine." I hiss.
"Someone's less broody." Quirin comments.
"Quit it." I say.
I see something in the distance. A temple. A temple that smells like blood. I see weapons decorating it. I know who's worshipped there. I'd rather move past it. It's not a place for the weak hearted.
"Whoa... what kind of temple is that?" Rapunzel asks.
"You don't want to know." I say turning.
Rapunzel gets out and starts walking towards it.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Come on Hector, we need a break. It's shelter." Rapunzel points to the clouds.
"No." I say.
"We all could use a break from the road." Lance says.
"May I remind you all of Corona's counting on us to keep moving." I hiss.
"Pleeeeaaase." Rapunzel has puppy eyes.
She's tough I'll admit. But I'd rather stay out here. I jump off of Ibis. Cece draws back.
"I'll get firewood." I say.
Rapunzel grabs my arm.
"You know this temple; you have to give us a tour." She smiles.
"Do you know the god who's worshipped in there?" I ask.
"No... that's why." She smiles.
"Ares. God of War and bloodshed." I say.
She draws back.
"Your highness, your kind and nice, do you honestly think you'd fit in?" I ask.
"I can be pretty tough. Come on only five minutes I promise." She says.
Five minutes might be too long.
"Excellent idea princess!" King Edmund pushes me in.
