I wince as I move my shoulder. I think he bruised it. My mouth was still dripping blood. The worst part of it was that Ares and Aphrodite spoke the truth. I am a coward... or was. I've left for war despite her telling me not to. I blinded the son of Poseidon when I should've killed him. Mercy makes you weak. Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.

"Hector... I am so sorry." Rapunzel says.

I ignore her. Great. Now everyone has questions. I was hoping I could avoid them.

"Hector... I had no idea. I am so sorry." Rapunzel says.

"It's fine. Let's just move on." I say.

"Are you sure?  Don't you want to talk about it?" Rapunzel asks.

"Talk about it? Just talk about all the Hell I did in those long years? Fine." I say.

I walk forward.

"You want to know how I bested Scylla? I sacrificed my own men to satisfy her hunger. I hid inside a wooden horse to kill the Trojans. I took the Sword of Kronos in the underworld. I let my mother die when I left for war." I hiss.

She draws back.

"Let's just keep moving." I turn.
