Eurylochus charges.
"Eurylochus stop this." I say.
"Never! I trusted you! We all did! And how you repay us!" He yells.
I still feel the sword calling to me. I can still hear it inside my head.
"Stop fighting me!" Eurylochus yells.
"I'm not fighting you. The sword is." I say.
"Is this one of your tall tales again?" He asks.
"Nothing. Look I've already paid for my sins." I say.
"Not enough." He charges.
I dodge. I kick him back.
"Do you even know what happened to me when I got home?" I ask.
"No, but I don't care." He charges.
I jump over him.
"That sword made me kill them." I say.
"Likely excuse." He charges again.
He takes out another knife that slices my cheek. I grab him and push him back.
"When I got home, she wasn't waiting for me." I say.
Eurylochus stops.
"She was with another man." I say.
"Ouch. Too think you did all that messed up heck." He charges.
I slide under him. He grabs my leg. He throws me into sharp rocks. I wince. Blood drips from my shirt. Damn. He charges. I don't want to fight, but I will kill him if I must. I have to. I made a mistake like this before. Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.
"It doesn't have to be like this." I say.
"It does." He says.
"Fine then. I warned you." I pull my sword.
Anubis and Set climb over the rock.
"Are you getting your pets to do your dirty work?" He says.
"No." I take my glove off.
Eurylochus drops his sword.
"Let's end this Neo." He says.
