Dr. Chan stepped out of Hyunjin’s room, feeling a small sense of relief as he glanced at his clipboard. His thoughts were interrupted as he saw his boyfriend waiting by the nurses' station.
Changbin, with his tousled hair and soft, fluffy appearance, looked like a bear in a sweater. He was practically vibrating with energy.
“Hey, Chan!” Changbin greeted with an exaggerated wave, his voice carrying a playful, almost silly tone. “How’s the patient? Did he ask you to dance or sing for him yet?”
Dr. Chan laughed, shaking his head. “No dancing or singing requests today. Just a lot of recovery and a promise to hang out once he’s better.”
Changbin grinned, bouncing on his toes. “Sounds like a plan. You know, I bet he’d love a concert from me, potato-style. I could even do a potato jig!”
Dr. Chan raised an eyebrow, trying to stifle his laughter. “You and your potato jokes. How’s the day treating you, Changbin?”
“Just perfect!” Changbin replied, giving Dr. Chan a mock serious look. “Except for the fact that I can’t wear my potato costume to work. They said it’s ‘inappropriate’.”
Dr. Chan chuckled, shaking his head as he headed down the hallway. “You do you, Changbin. See you around.”

Meanwhile, in a modest apartment not far from the hospital, Minho and Jisung were in the middle of a heated argument. Their voices echoed through the small space, emotions running high.
“You think I don’t know what’s been going on?” Jisung yelled, his face flushed with anger. “You’ve been distant, and now you’re coming home late all the time!”
Minho’s face was a storm of frustration and hurt. “What are you talking about, Jisung? I’ve been working late! It’s just work. I swear, there’s nothing else!”
“Oh, please!” Jisung snapped. “Don’t lie to me. I saw you with her. I saw you at that café. And don’t try to deny it.”
Minho’s eyes widened in shock. “Her? That was just a colleague from work! We were discussing a project. You’re making a big deal out of nothing.”
Jisung’s voice wavered, but he kept his ground. “I don’t believe you. I saw the way you two were laughing and talking closely. It looked more than just a work discussion.”
Minho’s frustration boiled over. “You’re accusing me of cheating? That’s ridiculous! I’ve never given you any reason to doubt me!”
The argument grew more intense, both of them shouting over each other, their words sharp and painful. Finally, Minho’s voice dropped, filled with desperation. “Jisung, I love you. I would never cheat on you. You need to trust me!”
Jisung looked away, tears threatening to fall. “I’m just so scared of losing you. I’ve been hurt before, and I can’t handle it if you’re lying.”
The argument wasn’t resolved, but both were left standing in the storm of their emotions, their future uncertain.

Back at the hospital, Felix was sitting quietly next to Hyunjin’s bed, lost in thought as he reviewed a book. The room was peaceful, save for the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor. The door creaked open, and a shadow fell across the room.
Felix looked up, his eyes widening in fear as he saw a new figure standing in the doorway. The person was unfamiliar, their face obscured by the dim light from the hallway. The stranger’s presence seemed to chill the air, and Felix’s heart began to race.
Before Felix could react, the figure stepped fully into the room, their expression unreadable. Felix’s mind raced with a thousand questions, each one more urgent than the last.
The scene was set, and tension hung heavily in the room, leaving Felix and the new arrival locked in a moment of uncertainty and dread.
