The Goddess's Blessing

Chapter Ten

I could feel the crisp night wind against my fur as I ran full force across my pack, trying to relieve my pent-up frustration and anger, but nothing worked. I've already run around the borders of my pack twice and still not even an ounce of my anger has dissipated even the slightest. The look on my mate's face of betrayal and shock, as she sat back on her heels, kept appearing in my mind, and every word she hurled at me in anger afterward. But what but impressed me the most but also the most was how easily she appeared to be able to pin me to the ground using expert fighting techniques. This whole thing situation was pissing me off and how can she expect me to take her word for things against all the hard years of information gathering my pack and others have gathered over the years. How dare she tell me to not come back until she believes my apology! I should be the one demanding an apology after everything she has done especially after attacking my pack the way she did.

As I was running around, I saw our training facility in the corner of my eye and at first, I was going to ignore it but then her words came back to me almost as if a tilde wave crashing against the shore. I felt my top lip lift slightly as I bared my teeth in anger as I started heading towards the facility. As I raced towards it, I just continued looking ahead of me, and even though it was completely dark outside with barely any lights on besides the ones lighting up the facility I didn't have the slightest difficulty seeing anything in front of me. One of the many perks the goddess has provided us when she created us besides an almost superhuman boost in our speed, strength, and even our five senses are boosted to do things a normal human would even dream they could ever achieve.

The training facility has all the state-of-the-art facilities as it has all the best equipment inside as well for multiple purposes for everyone to use for any reason. It even has another building attached to it especially for the warriors and me to train and everyone else is also allowed to use it if they desire but this late at night it is normally just our warriors getting in a little extra training or to work through some of their frustrations. And it was that side building that I headed towards and one unique thing about this building is the back door. The reason the back door is so unique is that its back door is built like a garage door to give easy access to go outside even if we are in our wolf forms no matter what kind of training we decide to do for the day. We do a lot of switching back and forth training and it can get annoying to have to change forms just to head in and outside the building so this was easier. And normally the door is open anytime the building is being used. 

And that door was open tonight as well just as I expected it to be so I wouldn't have to bother to use the front door. As I got closer to the building, I quickly noticed Luca standing in the center of the building with his back turned towards me talking to some of our other pack members. The moment I saw Luca standing there I began to move a bit quicker towards the building. Once I was right in front of the entrance to the building I chanced back to my human form before entering the building. 

I kept my eyes solely focused on the back of Luca's head ignoring all the concerned and shocked expressions of the others that were also in the building. I know I am probably a sight to behold as I didn't bother to put on any clothes before or after entering the building, so I am completely naked as the day I was born but I ignored it. I could see the others stop and stare at me as I continued forward, and nobody dared to try to stop or say anything to me as they could all tell from my expression that I was pissed and no one wanted to get in my way and be subjected to that anger, so they just watched from the side praying it wasn't them that angered me. 

As I walked towards Luca all I could practically hear was my mate's words in my head as she accused Luca of not telling the full truth and downplaying her stance before and after she fought with my pack upon her arrival to my pack. As her words repeated themselves in my head, I felt my anger only increase until I was just a few steps from Luca. He had noticed my present this entire time and had his back turned towards me. It wasn't until the room got completely silent as more and more people noticed me which was around the same time the guys that he was talking to also noticed me and I guess when he noticed their expressions changed that he knew something was up and decided to turn around which is when he finally noticed me.
