Juliet Harrington

We sat on the boat next to each other in the awkward silence. I was thinking about what I had seen earlier. It really seemed like I zoned out. How did I manage to see Billy? Did I summon him or something?

Whatever it was, it was weird. Very weird.

"...iet. Jules!" I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Eddie waving his hand in front of my face. "Hm?"

He looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "You okay? You keep zoning out." I nod at him. "Yeah...yeah I'm fine just thinking." He scoffs before looking away. This time I looked at him with my eyebrow raised. "What?"

"Y'know it's crazy." I blinked at him, confused. He looks at me again and shakes his head slowly. "You don't remember me, do you?" Remember him? Where would I remember him from. I shook my head telling him that I indeed, did not remember him.

He laughed lightly before speaking again. "I think that the whole 'Queen of Hawkins High' thing got to your head."

I chuckle before answering "What?" He looked at me with disbelief before responding. "Middle school. Talent show. You were singing a cute little song-"

"Oh my God! I remember that day!" I exclaimed, the memory flashing in my mind. "But you don't remember me?" I was still confused "No, am I supposed to?" He sighed dramatically and threw himself off the boat.

"Wha-"

"It hurts Jules!" He exclaimed throwing his hands up. "Jules?" I ask him. Why was he calling me by my nickname? We're not even that close. "Yes, Jules. I used to call you that all the time." I narrowed my eyes at him. "So this isn't the first time we've spoken?"

He nods. "Indeed not, Ms. Harrington." I cringed at the name. I hated when people called me that. Reminded me of my parents who I wasn't even sure I could call my parents. They were never there. "For my sake don't call me that." I shake my head

"Alright, alright" He held his hands up mocking surrender before placing his elbows on his knees and looking at me. "Middle school talent show..." he reminded once again. "You performed your song before I came out with my band...Corroded-"

"Corroded Coffin!" I exclaim clapping my hands together and pointing at him, remembering his band. "There we go!" He extended his arms at me before throwing them up in victory. I laughed at his dramatics. "Oh my...but...you look so different from the last time I saw you."

"I agree with you on that. My hair was buzzed, didn't have these luscious locks back then." He flipped his hid dramatically making me laugh a little. "And! I definitely didn't have these very food looking tats" He lowered the top of his shirt a bit, giving me the access to see his tattoos.

I laughed lightly. "I remember how close we used to be" He looked at me sitting back down. "Yep, well I guess if you're considered the 'Queen of Hawkins' means you won't hang out with the 'Hawkins Freak'" I shrugged

"Maybe you're right. I mean I was such an asshole freshman through junior year." I admit looking down at my hand.

"That, you were. But it seems that along with Steve Harrington over there...you both changed." I noticed his tone get a little more serious but still having a hint of playfulness in it.

I look at him and meet his eyes. "Yeah well...people change. And I guess fighting all these interdimensional monsters make you view things a different way" I shrug.

He nods in understanding before speaking up again. "Hey, where are we going to sleep?"

Eddie looks at around. "Uhhh...I have no clue. We could sleep on the boat" I look at him with an 'Are you serious' look. He gives me an innocent smile before standing up, making sure he's out of the window's view.

"It's all we got. Sorry sweetheart" He said throwing the tarp over the boat. "We'll use this to not get cold" I shaked my head. "I can't believe I offered to stay"

"Don't act like you're not enjoying it" He said starting to lay down on the boat. I followed his lead, keeping a fair distance from each other but it was practically impossible. It's a boat. "Who says I'm acting?" I look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"I am" He said lowly looking into my eyes. My eyebrow came down and my gaze softened as I looked at him. We kept eye contact for a while. I looked into his deep, doe, brown eyes. I never noticed how beautiful they really were. After a while I looked down, breaking the eye contact and clearingn my throat.

"We should head to sleep now. Before people find us here." He looked down and looked away from me as well. "Yeah you're right."

I turned my body around so my back faced him. "'Night Munson"

"'Night Harrington"

I found myself facing the red, cloudy sky. Lightening showing the true colors of it. I walked around not really knowing where I was. But then I came across a...warehouse? I'm not sure. It seemed abandoned. And outside of it was his car. His car. Billy's car. Why was his car here?

I heard screaming from inside the warehouse. It was all so familir. Until I heard his voice come from inside side. Panicked. Scared.

"Jules!!"

My eyes widened as I heard his voice. "Billy?!"

"Juliet!!"

"Billy!" I know it was stupid of me to start running towards it. But I guess when you start missing someone, nothing stops you from even having the slightest contact with them.

I ran into the warehouse but instead of seeing a dusty place, I was in the mall. Right where I was standing the time Billy died. I saw Billy getting killed all over again. But before I could react I jolted up awake, hyperventilating. I saw Eddie next to me, looking concerned.

"Hey, you alright sweetheart?" I looked around, my chest heaving up and down. After I realized I wasn't really there I nodded. "Yeah...yeah just a bad nightmare"

Before he could reply we snapped our heads to look at the door. We heard a car pull up into the front and he immediately made me crouch down. We crawled over to the window with that same glass he held against my neck the night before. He looked through the window but saw no one. Just then the door burst open and Steve, Robin, Max, and Dustin came through.

"Delivery service." Dustin said with a cocky smile on his face. He held up two shopping bags. Finally some food. Eddie felt relieved and it was visible. Steve gave him a little wave, wiggling his fingers before they handed the bags over to us
