We finished eating the SpaghettiO's which I found incredibly disgusting but something was something. I was sprawled onto the couch. Bored out of my mind. There was still no sign of the others which made me worry.

I was going to have to stay here long. I can't eat SpaghettiO's much longer, man. I heard footsteps around the house and I leaned my head back and saw Eddie. "Alright, princes. Get up, we gotta head back to the boathouse." He said, signalling for me to get up.

I groaned and sat up. "Do we havee to?" I made anlittle pouty face which resulted in a frown once I felt Eddie pinch my cheeks. "Yes we have to. Now c'mon. It's broad daylight, anyone could see us."

Just as i was about to get up I heard the walkie next to me get static. I picked it up and turned it on. It was a little muffled until I was finally able to pick up who it was.

"Jules?"

"Steve?!" I exclaimed finally hearing my brother.

"Shit! You're alive! You had me worried! I completely forgot to pick you up! It's just...Max-"

"What about Max?" I asked worriedly, hearing her name leave his mouth.

I heard a bit of shuffling until he finally answered.

"It's a lot to explain but she's safe. And I need you to be too, alright? We're going to check out Victor Creel's old house. You wanna come with?"

I looked at Eddie and he shrugged at me. Signalling that it was up to me. I didn't wanna leave Eddie here alone. I might as well stay.

"I think I'll stay..."

"You sure?"

"Mhm."

"Alright, I'm going to pick up your walkmen from our house. Don't ask why I don't have time to explain. But remember let me know if anything."

"Yeah, yeah. I got it." Although I found it a little weird why he needed my walkmen I didn't question it. I heard a bit more shuffling until he spoke up again.

"Okay, we're going now. Stay safe, alright."

"Got it."

Then static again. He must've left. I sighed and just prayed Max was okay. He told me she was but I know she was cursed too which only made me worry more.

Eddie cleared his throat from behind me. "So uh...we kinda gotta go."

I sighed and got up off the couch. We sneaked over to the boathouse and luckily no one was around. So no one saw us. We got back in there and sat in silence.

Of course until I decided to break it.

"I'm bored." I said, fiddling with a string on my black top. He looked at me and then looked around. He grabbed a random tin can and held it up. "Wanna see who can get the most pebbles in?"

I raised my eyebrow at him. But eventually a small smile broke out in my face. He was so cute trying to find something for us to do. I nodded and he smiled.
