When we areived we saw Nancy grtting questioned by the police. I guess he was there when it happened. I was never fond of Nancy to be truthful. I disliked her very much. Ever since she broke Steve's heart, I've sort of held a grudge on her. But then we started fighting interdimensional monsters and I had to at least try to be civil with her. For Steve's sake.

Still, I did dislike her. Just not as much. The cop was still asking her questions but she just stared at us. A scared expression on her face. She gave us a small wave but no one waved back. Just looked at her concerned, escpecially my brother.

After she finished with the cops we moved over to a picnic table by the trailer park. We all sat down and started explaining everything we know and Dustin's little theory that surprisingly makes sense.

"So you're saying that this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy, it's from the Upside Down?" Nancy asked after listening to Dustin. "If the shoe fits" Steve nods. Then Dustin further explains the situation. "Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell or...a curse. Now, whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Player or just loves killing teens, we don't know"

"All we know is that, this is something different. Something new" I said trying my best to not act harsh towards the girl sitting next to me. Sure I didn't like her, but now was not the time to be arguing with anyone. "It doesn't make sense" The curly haires girl next to me said, looking down at the table. "It's only a theory" Dustin said

Nancy shook her head. "No, Fred and Chrissy dob't make sense, I mean...why them?" I could tell where she was coming from. And it raised an essential question. Why were they the chosen victims? Why did they have to suffer such a tragic death?

"Maybe they were just in the wrong place? They were both at the game" Dustin suggested. Then Max added on to his statement "And near the trailer park" I noticed Steve get a little worried. "We're at the trailer park. Uhhh..." He turned around and looked around the trailer park. "Should we maybe not be here?" He asked himself.

Everyone followed him and looked around the place. Me included. Something felt off about this place when I came near it. "There is something about this place." Nancy commented "Fred started acting weird the second we got here." We all looked at her and Robin asked the question I had myself. Since I was feeling weird in this trailer park, who knows. Maybe I could meet the same fate as Chrissy and Fred did.

"Acting weird as in...?

"Scared...on edge, upset" Nancy finished her sentence. "Max said Chrissy was upset too" I turned to look at Max as she shook her head. "Yeah but not here. She was crying in the bathroom at school."

I wonder why Chrissy was upset. She always seemed so happy and sweet. Just for her to die a very tragic and brutal death. "Serial killers stalk their prey before they strike, right? So, maybe Fred and Chrissy saw this Vecman-"

"Vecna" Dustin corrected. I rolled my eyes. Show off.

"I don't know about you guys but if I saw some freaky, wizard monster I would mention it to someone." Steve said, scratching the back of his ear. "He's right. But who would believe that. Some type of weird monster, no one's buying that. No one would really believe you"

"But...maybe they did tell someone" I turned my head to look at Max. She looked back at me before continuing. "I saw Chrissy leaving Ms. Kelley's office. If you saw a monster, you-you wouldn't go to the police. They'd never believe you. But, you might go to your-"

"Your shrink..." Robin finished. We all came into realization and immediately stood up from the table to walk back to the car. We were going to take Max to Ms. Kelley and see if we could get any information on what Chrissy might've mentioned to the counselor.

We made our way back to the car and I noticed Nancy walked away from all of us. I didn't mind. I just continued walking but then Steve noticed and spoke up. "Woah, woah. Nance. Nance!" He called for her. I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my hip, watching as he looked at her concerned.

"Nance. Where are you going." He asked making his way to stand in front of her. I sighed and watched as they interacted with each other. "Oh, there's just something I wanna check on first."

I looked at her with an eyebrow raised. She's always doing things on her own and always wanting to be right. One of the main things I hated about her. "Something you wanna share with the rest of us?" Dustin asked throwing his arms up slightly.

"I don't wanna waste your time. It's a real shot in the dark." Steve looked at me and I shrugged. "She can go. I don't care. We need to finish this." I said glaring at Nancy as she rolled her eyes at me. Steve glared at me before turning back to Nancy. "Yeah..okay. Are you out of your mind? Flying solo with this Vecna creep on the loose? No that's too dangerous. You need-you need someone to..."

He didn't finish his sentence and looked back at us. He threw his keys at Robin, who barely caught them.  I looked at Steve. What the hell was he doing?

"Here. I'll stick with Nance, alright? You guys take the car and check the shrink." He said starting to walk backwards to Nancy. "I don't think you want me driving your car." Robin said, looking at Steve the same way I was looking at him. "Why?"

"I don't have a license." She said pointing towards the car. "Why don't you have a license?" He shook his head in disbelief. "I'm poor." To me it sounded more of a question than an answer. Robin wasn't necessarily poor but she couldn't afford a car or driver's license.

Steve looked at me with a hopeful expression. "Yeah, i'm not driving. I'm not letting you go with her. You're coming with us." I immediately said shaking my head. There was no way I was letting my twin brother run around with the girl who broke his heart, leaving me to pick up the mess she made. He groaned knowing I was definitely not going to budge.

"I can drive!" Max offered excitedly. Steve immediately turned that suggestion down. "No, no! Never again! Please! Anybody but you, no." I don't even know what gave Max the idea to offer to drive. Last time, Steve was freaking out in the backseat. Then Dustin shrugged and tilted his head, silently offering to drive. "No chance. No." He pointed his finger at the boy. "Oh, come on!" He said annoyed.

"Alright, okay. This is stupid" She walked towards Dustin and grabbed the walkie from his backpack. She then shoved the keys towards Steve and walked towards Nancy. "Us ladies will stick together. Unless you think we need you to pretect us." She smirked at him knowing that if he agreed with that, it'd be extremely sexist.

He didn't answer and just gave her a defeated look. "You coming, Jules?" She asked me, walking backwards to Nancy's car. "No, I think I'll still with Max on this one. Stay safe though Rob, alright?" She nodded and ran back to the car. Nancy stayed behind and looked at me. I glared at her before walking to the passenger seat. Dustin stopped me.

"Ah-ah-ah" He shook his head. I looked at him with an 'are you serious' look. "Yeah no Dusty" I grabbed his head and pushed him away, he groaned but walked over to the back door in defeat. I smirked and opened the door. "Wipe your feet" Steve said annoyed to the both of us. I did so outside the car but Dustin did it inside. Which annoyed my brother even more. "On the outside! Not the inside!"

I could tell he was pissed. I made sure Max entered the car before putting my seatbelt on. Steve put the key in the car "Always the babysitter" He whispered under his breath. "Always the goddamn babysitter!" Then we drove away, passing by Eddie's trailer which was covered in caution tape.

What did we get ourselves into now?
