Chapter 22

No One's POV

Juliet's body was still in the air for awhile. Until her view finaly came back and she let out a gasp. She felt herself fall down and onto someone's arms.

She was panting and hyperventilating. She patted her surrounding with her hands and looked around. Nancy was rubbing her face with her hands. Max was now sitting next to Juliet. Eddie had taken her in his arms. Steve was holding her hand and Dustin was clinging onto Robin like a little kid.

Eventually, Juliet's other hand, the one Steve wasn't holding, found the arms that were wrapped around her. She looked up and came face to face with a tear-eyed Eddie.

"I'm so glad you're okay." He said shakily, placing a small kiss onto Juliet's head. Her breathing slowly started to get back into a normal place, letting out small gasps occasionally.

"You scared the shit out of me, Jules." Max said walking over and sitting down in front of me. Juliet looked at her and gave her the smallest of smiles before turning to look at her twin brother who was shaking and holding onto her hand.

Steve looked so scared. Worried. Worried that his little sister would've died. Steve looked at her and before she knew it, he pulled on her and immediately brought her into an embrace.

He hugged her tightly not caring if anyone saw him crying. He was just happy and glad that his sister was okay. He didn't even say anything and just hugged her.

Juliet hugged him back, maybe not as tightly, but surely with just as much affection. She was still shaken up about what she just encountered, but she felt safe again now that she was back with her friends.

After a while Steve calmed down and pulled away from her. But instead of recieving some nice words from her brother, like Juliet expected, she got a smack on the head

"What the hell, Steve?!" The brunette exclaimed as she looked at her brother. "You scared me you little shit!" Steve said as he stood up and placed his hands on his hips.

"That wasn't my fault!"

"Alright, kiddos! Listen, Jules I'm glad you're okay, really I am! Because I love you so much and I seriously can't imagine out stupid trio without you! You had me worried sick but now I'm glad you're okay. We're all safe. Maybe now fully, but somewhat safe. But our main worry right now is that we find Vecna, kill him, and save you guys." Robin rambled causing the twins to look at her.

Everyone was silent for a moment before Juliet said something "So where's the food?"

"Is that seriously the first thing you ask?"

"When we got to shore, we tried calling you guys, but, uh..."

Juliet and Eddie were sat next to each other. Eddie, as usual, drinking beer, and Juliet just munching on some chips the group got her. They were all stood around the two as they explained what happened. Juliet barely saying anything, due to the previous events.

"My walkie was busted, man. Drenched. So, uh, I did the thing that I do now, apparently. I ran" Eddie chuckled dryly, placing the alcohol on the ground.

Juliet was barely looking up. "Dragged Jules with me." The metalhead said from next to her causing her to look at him, giving him a small smile before turning back to her chips.
