Domenico approached the girls with his arms in front of his body. His fingers were playing with his rings as he gulped. He stood in front of them; both their eyes were on him now. The boy lifted his hand awkwardly, his bottom lip trembling as he was trying to speak loud enough so they can hear him. One of the two girls giggled, finding him cute, while the other stared at him with a growl.
"U-Uh, I just wanted to say you both are gorgeous...."
Domenico rubbed the back of his neck with a smile showing his teeth. The brunette gasped softly, thanking him while the person next to her, a girl with platinum purple hair covered in piercings, chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, aren't you cute!? I'm Beatrice, and this is my friend, Monica!"
The brunette pointed at her friend with a broad smile; she stayed silent with crossed arms looking away.
"I'm Domenico; it's nice to meet you, girls."
"Why don't you join us!? We were looking for some company, anyway!"
Beatrice asked him, the same smile playing off her lips. Domenico nodded and sat between them; he could see his cousin's grin in the distance. He lied back as Beatrice turned her head and started a conversation with him.
"So, Domenico, how old are you?"
"I'm... nineteen!"
"Oh, a whole adult! I am seventeen, but Monica is eighteen!"
Domenico nodded and turned his chin towards Monica, who was on her phone, not caring for the boy beside her at all. He looked at Damon for a second; Nicolas was whispering something to his ear. Whatever he said to him, it brought a wide smirk on the drug baron's lips. Damon nodded and said something back; Nicolas grinned before pointing at the back. The kingpin winked at him before he turned to Domenico, making a thumbs up. Domenico moved his head and smiled; Damon stood up and went behind the bar. Soon, he was out of the boy's eyesight.
"Did you know that guy?"
Beatrice questioned him as Domenico glared at her, confused.
"Which guy?"
"That one with the shirt that kept staring at us."
"Oh, he's my cousin, no worries!"
"Thank God, I thought he was a creep!"
Beatrice laughed, putting her hand on Domenico's shoulder; a blush crept into his cheeks. Luckily, it wasn't visible because of the quick light changes. She wrapped a tuft of her long hair around her index finger with a toothy smile.
"He looked cute; is he young?"
"I think he's close to his thirties, but I am not sure."
"He's too old for you, Beatrice."
Monica added in the end, receiving both their glares. She was quiet until now. Beatrice giggled cutely, moving her body with the music's rhythm.
"The older, the better, Monica!"
Monica just groaned and continued being on her phone, ignoring her friend.
After some more talking, a waitress stopped in front of them. She bowed a bit and let three glasses on the table; the three of them looked at her confused.
"We didn't order any drinks."
"Oh, they're on the house! Nicolas told me to bring you some vodka!"
Domenico looked at his glass and gulped and then at the waitress.
"Where's Damon?"
"He's busy with Nicolas, don't worry, kiddo! Enjoy your drinks!"
The waitress smiled politely before walking away. Domenico grabbed his glass and brought it close to his mouth.
