The following day, the weather was hot as usual. Birds were flying around, and the casino was empty. Damon growled under his breath, opening his eyes on a bed as the light coming from the window woke him up. He stared at the white ceiling for a split second, trying to remember where he was. His body tensed up as he felt a pair of arms wrapped around his. He jumped a bit back, remembering what had happened last night or almost. The man pulled his arm away and got away from the bed before dressing up. His eyes fell on a leather suitcase beside the door; he glared at it before opening it. Damon's eyes widened as he faced millions of euros in it. A grin took over his lips as he closed it, remembering how much money he had won in the casino. He fixed his shirt and opened the door but stood there when he felt two pairs of eyes on him. Damon looked at the two women before winking at them with a smirk.
"Thanks for the lovely night, ladies!"
He spoke with a charming voice before leaving the room. The last thing he heard was their giggles. Damon rushed down the stairs, finding Lazaro and Giovanni sitting by the bar, enjoying a cup of cappuccino. He raised his eyebrow, soon Lazaro saw him.
"Damon! Morning, how are you? Did you have fun last night?"
His uncle talked with a loud voice and open arms. Damon laughed and stood in front of the two men.
"Good morning, uncle. Hello, Giovanni. Yes, I had a lot of fun."
"And money, too."
Giovanni added with a smirk as Damon smiled wide.
"I saw the two chicks that followed you to your room last night. They were pretty hot; were they any fun?"
Lazaro grinned, bringing the cup of coffee to his lips. Damon nodded quickly before laughing and pushing his fingers through his hair.
"Quite a lot, uncle."
"Would you like a cup of coffee, Damon?"
Giovanni asked, pointing at his cup as Damon mumbled, "yes". He started looking around before turning back to the two grown men.
"Hye uncle, where's James?"
"James? I have no idea, Damon."
Lazaro shrugged with a confused look before turning to Giovanni. Damon tried to call James, but there wasn't an answer back. He groaned, glaring at his phone, worrying that something had happened to his friend.
"I can ask the security if they saw him around."
Giovanni said as Damon agreed with him quickly. A knot in his stomach was saying that something was very wrong.
"You can do that, Giovanni?"
"Oh, yes! I'll just give them a simple description of your friend, and they'll tell me quickly where he went!"
Giovanni panted Damon's shoulder before leaving. The drug baron puffed, anxious. James was still not picking his phone up. About ten minutes later, Giovanni returned.
"So?"
"He's upstairs in a room, Damon.?"
"Which room?"
"110."
Giovanni answered with his hands in the pockets of his pants before sitting down. Damon mumbled said something under his breath before glancing towards the stairs.
"I'll be right back...."
The kingpin rushed upstairs after leaving the suitcase with the money to his uncle. He started looking around, searching for the room before finding it. He glanced at it for a few seconds before sighing. Damon knocked on the door with force but soon found out the door was half-opened.
