It was Monday morning, and the soft rays of the sun filtered through the large windows of Abby's grand mansion, casting a warm glow over the opulent interiors. Mason was sprawled out on his king-sized bed, absorbed in the latest sports highlights on TV. The room was filled with the soft hum of the television, a backdrop to Mason's focused expression. His posters of famous athletes like Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was playing his last season before retirement, Angels 1st baseman Mike Trout, Clippers forward Blake Griffin and even a photo of Lakers legends Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar in their playing days and framed jerseys adorned the walls with one being a Kirk Gibson Dodgers jersey, reflecting his deep-seated love for sports.

The door swung open with a burst of energy, and Abby, dressed in her usual black t-shirt and black track pants, entered the room with an excited grin that lit up her face. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of anticipation and joy. She was practically vibrating with the news she was about to share.

"Hey, Mom, what's going on?" Mason asked, looking up from the screen with a puzzled but intrigued expression.

"Mase, I don't know if you've heard the big news yet, but the Rams are coming back to Los Angeles!" Abby announced, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

Mason's face immediately transformed from curiosity to sheer elation. His eyes widened, and his mouth fell open slightly in disbelief. He had been dreaming of this moment for years. Ever since Abby had regaled him with stories about the Rams' glory days before their departure to St. Louis in 1995 and the Raiders' move to Oakland the same year, he had been hoping for their return.

"Really?!" Mason exclaimed, nearly jumping off the bed.

"Yes!" Abby confirmed, her excitement matching his. "The NFL confirmed it with a 30-2 vote. The Rams are coming back and they're building a brand-new stadium in Inglewood. Construction started last month, and until it's finished, they'll be playing at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the same place they played before they left."

Mason's face lit up with a radiant smile. "This is gonna be so cool! I can't wait to attend their games and get some Rams jerseys!"

Abby chuckled, her laughter ringing through the room. "I don't blame you. It's such a huge deal for the city. The Rams are a part of Los Angeles' history, and it's great to see them coming back."

Mason's enthusiasm was tempered with a touch of melancholy. "But I do feel bad for St. Louis. It didn't work out for them with the stadium plans, and now they're losing the team."

"Yeah, it's tough," Abby agreed, her voice softening. "It's always hard when things don't work out as planned for a city that embraced the team so much. But this is a new chapter, and it's a big win for LA."

With a shared nod of understanding, Abby and Mason headed out of the mansion. They drove through the city, the streets alive with the usual Monday bustle. Abby's sleek SUV navigated the busy traffic with ease as they headed towards the sports store Mason had been eyeing for weeks.

The store was a sports aficionado's paradise. Rows upon rows of jerseys, hats, and memorabilia from every conceivable team lined the shelves. As soon as they stepped inside, Mason's eyes lit up at the sight of the Rams jerseys displayed prominently. The vibrant blue and gold colors seemed to jump off the racks.

"Mom, look!" Mason said, pointing excitedly to a rack of Rams jerseys. "They've got the new ones already!"

Abby smiled as Mason eagerly rifled through the jerseys, picking out a couple of styles. They were sleek, with the new logo that had been revealed just days ago, capturing the essence of the team's return. Mason carefully chose his sizes, the thrill of owning something so directly linked to his long-time sports dream evident in his every movement.

After purchasing the jerseys, Abby and Mason headed towards the studio, their conversation turning to their plans for the upcoming games. Mason couldn't contain his excitement, already planning out his game-day rituals. Abby, seeing her son so happy, felt a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing she had played a part in this memorable moment for him.

As they drove to the studio, the Los Angeles skyline framed their view, a symbolic backdrop to the new chapter for the Rams and the city's renewed sports spirit. The anticipation of the upcoming games and the memories yet to be made were palpable in the air, making the day feel special and filled with promise.

Later, at the Abby Lee Dance Company, and the studio buzzed with activity as the team prepared for the Dream NDC competition in Placentia. Maddie Ziegler was gearing up for her solo performance, while the group dance for the older girls and the Minis' group dance were in full swing. Excitement was palpable, especially with Maddie's nomination for the DailyMail.com Seriously Popular Award and Mason's nominations at the People's Choice Awards. The nominees for Favorite Social Media Star included popular figures like Matt Bellassai and Cameron Dallas, while for Favorite Social Media Celebrity, the competition was fierce with names like Britney Spears and Beyoncé.

Adding to the mix were the new dancers, the Quinn Sisters: Kaylee, Rihanna, and Coco, accompanied by their mother, Jeannie. Despite their mother's best efforts, it was clear that adjusting to Abby's rigorous standards was not going to be easy.
