EP 5 The Mirror monster part 5

Ep 5 Grimwood Ghouls, The Mirror Monster.

Winnie and Elsa continued to search through the school for their friends, but still came across no signs as to where they could be..

" Okay..Now I'm getting a little worried...they are nowhere to bee found. " Winnie said

" Yeah..its so strange..we should have seen one of them by now..not to mention it's getting late, sibella know's the curfew so she'd not be out and about at this time, " Elsa added.. " but we can't give up. we'll find them soon enough I know it. "

winnie nodded in agreement then looked around.. " hey when do you think Tanis will be here with miss grimwood ? "

" I'm not sure...maybe we should go and check on her too," elsa said making her way towards the direction of miss grimwood's office..while winnie just fallowed along.but they were then stopped when they heard a voice call out to them..

" Girls !! Girls !! "

they both then turned around to see tanis running at them looking and sounding alarmed...

" Tanis ? " winnie said looking confused..

" we were just on our way to see you. " Elsa added

Tanis stopped running and began panting to catch her breath..

" girls *pant * there's * pant * a monster " she said looking at them worryingly..

both the girls looked at one another confused not getting what she meant..

" wait..what ? " winnie asked..

" there is a monster ! it was in miss grimwood's room ! " she said " I was just in their..it looked like miss grimwood..then looked like sibella !! " she said frantically..

" wait wait..what do you mean ? " winnie said still not understanding..

" I don't know how to explain...it's just..this ghoul who called it'self the Mirror monster was pretending to be Miss grwimwood and sibella..! " she said, then looked at both of them with worrying eyes. " I thinki it must if been the one
who took Phantasma and sibella.."

both Elsa and winnie looked at one anther..they knew the little mummy had quite the active imagination and can have the tendency to scare easy..but with how worried and alarmed she looked...they knew there was some truth in what she was saying..

" Now hold on...your telling us that a monster disguised as our teacher..then our friend is lurking in the school ? " Elsa said trying to process it.

tanis just nodded..


" Hmm..you sure you saw that tanis ?..I mean...that just seems a little strange to happen out of the blue..the only ghouls around here our the ones who live here. " winnie said..

" well if you don't believe me...why don't you you fallow me And I show you. " she said looking a little offended..

this both made winnie and elsa look at her rather shockingly..

" hey were not saying your crazy..but..well it seems that..I don't that would be very unlikely. " Elsa said kneeling down next to her..

" well..if you really want to see..you should go look for yourself..but I'm not going to stand around and let you think of me as liar. " she glared at them...

both the ghouls sighed as they didn't mean to offend her..though it wasn't like her to be so easily insulted over not being believed..after she was claimed to see things that aren't really their before..like how she'd still insist sleeping with a fright light in her room...

" please..you have you believe me " tanis said putting her hands together..

both the girls then sighed..knowing that they should at least go and give it a look..after all they were looking for their friends..and well..they still needed to make sure they were okay..even if this seemed to be unlikely to them..

" Fine then..we'll go and see then, " winnie said.

" Yeah just lead the way then. " Elsa added.

tanis nodded. " will do just fallow me then, " she said motion them to fallow her..they were just about to do so when they heard another voice call to them..

" Winnie , Elsa ! "

they all stopped and turned around to see Tanis at the other end of the hall behind the running towards them, she stopped to catch her breath..

" girls wait ! don't fallow her ! " she said..

winnie's ears then drooped as she looked extremely confused. as well as Elsa..they both then turned to see the Tanis they were fallowing who was looking back seeming to be alarmed..they then looked back at the other...

" wait a mintue..." winnie said itching her head.." what's going on here why I am I seeing double !? "

" girls hold on don't fallow her. that's not Me !!! " Tanis alerted them..

Elsa and winine both looked back and fourth at each of the Tanis's..trying to figure it out,,,

" don't listen to that one..she's the Mirror monster I was telling you about. " the first one they were fallowing said..

" eehh..I don't get it...she'd right..their is a copying ghoul here..but which one is our Tanis ? " winnie said looking worried..

" girls..it beat me to you..it's trying to lure you away. just like it probably did to phantasma and sibella ! it even told me it know's where there at !! , "

" don't listen to Me !! listen to..well uh me !! ..she's lying..if you believe her she'll probably capture you too !! " The other tanis said..

" okay both of you stop it !! " Elsa yelled..

both the tanis then shut their lips as they listened..

" alright..clearly something strange has been happening here tonight..and this only proves it..we only have one
little mummy around her..so I ask you...which of you is the real Tanis ? " Elsa said folding her arms and eyeing up the both of them..

" girls..you have to believe me..I told you all about the Mirror monster and that's it ! " the first tanis said pointing at it and sounding alarmed.."

they then turned to the other..

" Girls you know Me I'm no Mirror monster. ! "

" Wait...just what Is a Mirror monster exactly " winnie said eyeing up the both of them.

" the First tanis then spoke up. " I told you..it's a monster that can shapeshift into anything and it's what took our friends . you have to believe me !! "

they both the turned to look at the other tanis,,

" I really have no idea what it is..all I know Is I saw it in miss grimwood's office..were it changed into sibella...now it's trying to copy me ! please girls..don't listen to it..I don't want it to get you too.. " she said in a pleading tone

winnie groweld. as she thought to herself..something's fishy with one of them , with the way they talked.she knew she felt this way before with someone.. she then widen her eyes... and remembered sibella..and how odd she was acting earlier..she knew that the reason sibella was acting so odd was because it was not sibella at all.... she the darted her eyes at both the tanises...she also did notice something odd about the first one...the way she was behaving odd too..

" oh my gosh ! Tanis is right..there is a shape shape shifting monster.." she blurted out to everyone..who all just looked at her strangely..

the first tanis then spoke up. "Uh yeah I told you..it takes the form of what ever it sees !! "

" right..it does..which is funny...how do you know that anyway while the other does not ? " winnie said eyeing her up ?

Huh ? " the first tanis said a looking a little confused and concerned..

Elsa's then perked up.." she's right..you seem to know a lot about this creature. were did you learn about it ? " she said folding her arms again..

" uuh...well you see. " they could both see she was fora loss of words..

" the reason I bet you know so much is because you are this so called Mirror monster aren't you. "

The tanis looked up at them then nervously chuckled.." what ? come one..you girls know me. " she said shrugging and seeming to try and play it cool.

" mmh hmm..an well..you where the also at dinner today weren't you..remember the meatloaf. " winnie said raising an eyebrow..

tanis's eyes then softened a bit.." ooh..it was rather good.." she then began to slobber...thne quikly wiped it away..
" heh heh..well it was wasn't it ? "

" what Have you done with our friends. " Elsa said now glaring..

The tanis thne smiled sweetly and chuckled.." oh..jeeze I guess the Jig is up then isn't it..your not as Simple minded as I thought you'd all be. " said in mocking tone

this did slightly catch them off gaured to hear that. but they knew this tanis was the impostors..and they weren't going to let them get away with what ever they had planned..

" alright enough of that ! just tell us who you are and where you came from. and if not your still going to show us where our friends our. " Winnie growled..

soon the real tanis ran up behind them. " girls wait...you don't know what it can do if you get it mad ! " she alerted them..

" she's right..you are defiantly biting off more then you can chew here. " the mirror monster said still disguised as tanis..though they were no longer hiding their voice and let the their gruff and steep tone out..

winnie and elsa then saw a pair of sharp fans appear in it's mouth as they also saw it began to grow slowly..

this caused them to back away a little..

" hey..just so you know you don't scare us ! " winnie said ..though her voice was a little shaky...
they then both watched as the tanis had then morphed into a new shape..looking more like Elsa now..only much more
sinister. specially with having red eyes and sharp fangs..

" woah.." winnie said at a loss for words,,

" s-so you can turn into us...big deal..that's not going to stop us from finding our friends.. " Elsa said to her duplicate

" oh..you'll be seeing them real soon. ' he chuckled to himself.." you will indeed.." he said raising his arms out and began inching closer to them..

" uh..let's go find miss grimwood " Winnie said backing way..

elsa looked back at tanis and winnie who truely seemed to be concerned..

" oh yeah..well I'll show you that this phony can be messily dealt with. " Elsa said taking a fighting stance..

" but elsa..I normal don't run from a fight. but..well if it can copy you..I'm sure it might pack quite the same punch as you too. " winnie said..

elsa then turne back to face the copy cat..who was manically chuckling allowed.." heh heh heh..you can try all you want..but you'll never escape my clutches " he said suddenly lunging at her..winnie and tanis watched in alarm as the copy tackled Elsa to the ground..the two then had a small tussil on the ground..

winnie let out a howl " come on Elsa..you can take him. "

Elsa grunted as she ysed both her legs to kick him off her and send him flying into the wall were he left a big imprint..

" ooh..so you want to play rough do you. " He glared at then darkly.. he then jumped down and ran at her again..Elsa was prepared to strike her arm at at him be he then suddenly vanished before their eyes..

" huh...where'd he go ? " Elsa said looking around confused..

" he vanished ! the coward. " winnie growled..

suddenly the ghouls could hear a slight sinister chuckle echoing around them....

" No..he's still here. " tanis said worryingly..

suddenly winnie felt something grip itself around her waste. she looked down surprised as she was then lifted off the ground..

" Hey ! put me down! " she fought against the invisible attacker..she was then flung across the room and towards Elsa who acted quickly and caught her..though caused them both to fall over onto the ground..

winnie quickly jumped off elsa and took a stance on the ground

" arlight..now you'll get it. " she said baring her claws and looking around for him while elsa stook d back up and began to do the same..

they both then heard more chuckling coming from around them.

" where are you ! show your self now ! " winie yelled..

" huh..w-winnie look " tanis said pointing up at something...

both winnie and Elsa looked up and saw the monster Had Now climbing up the walls..now looking like Winnie. only with more shaggy fur and torn clothing..he was using his claws that were twice as long and sharps as winnie's to crawl up the side of the wall.. while evilly chuckling to himself..

" Hey no one impersonates me !! " winnie barked at him... though that is something I wish I could do." ahe added..

just the the mirror monster stopped climbing and looked down at them with his piercing red eyes..he the bared his sharp fangs and took a leap from the wall. plummeting straight down at them. his claws stretched outward at them looking ready to maul them as soon as he could..

" watch it !! " winnie yelled before taking a jump away. causing the mirror monster to miss her by mere inches. he landed in the ground with a hard thud..

he groggily got to his feet with both paws on his head..

winnie growled at him and bared her claws.." you don't seem so tough to me after all. " she said looking ready to attack him..

he then turned his head at her and and chuckled.." heh heh...you may think that...but I still have your friends...and i'll soon make it so that you'll never free them " he grinned..

winnie then cocked her head..what on earth was he talking about ? free them..so he did have them trapped somewhere..

" hey ! you tell me where they are ! " she growled.. or else ! "

Elsa then appeared behind him..making sure he didn't try and run away..

the mirror monster chuckled..." you'll never get any answers from me " he said with a smug tone.." you three don't scare me at all " he snickered..

this caused winnie to growl some more.." well I'll make that change real fast " she said as she looked as though she wa about to attack him. suddenly the monster disappeared right the second before she did catching her off guard again..

" gaah ! he vanished again ! " winnie said face palming her self.."

" so much for not being afraid " elsa said shaking her head.." just what was that thing anyway. "

" well he called himself the mirror monster..so..i Guess that's what he is.some sort of copying ghoul " tanis said looking around paranoid..

" how did such a ghoul even get in this school..and why. " elsa said leaning back against a wall.." we got to find miss grimwood..she needs to know about this..and quick. "

winnie's ears the perked up.." wait ? mirror monster...of course.." she said grabbing tanis by the shoulders.." he's from that stupid mirror..he has to be. ! "

elsa looked at her then thought.." hmm..you know what I bet your right..there has got to be a connection between the too..he must have came from the mirror....and what ever he did..I bet he somehow took sibella and replaced her with himself.."

" then...what did he do with Sibella ? " tanis said worryingly

everyone then thought for a moment..until elsa came up with another conclusion.

" Remember..he said he would make it so we can't free our friends..that means they still have to be around here somewhere both sibella and phantasma..trapped in some way.."

winnie then spoke up.." ah..and i bet I know where.."

they both turned to look at her..awaiting the answer..

" they are probably int the basement dungeon. I mean it is a place to keep prisoners and well..clever to use it was Against us.."

elsa looked at her then thought.." hmm..well somewhat clever..I don't think so..while sibella I can sorta see..phantasma is not so easily detained..she's a spirt..it's take some designed to trap her..like with magic or what not..so something of the sorts has to be involved.."

winnie then sighed having to agree..she then spoke up.." well..then what could that be..what could be used to trap both our friends ? "

Elsa then began pacing back and fourth thinking to herself.." well...I don't know..but I think I might know where to look for an idea.." she said.

" and where would that be ? " tanis said..

" we need to fin that mirror..we need to find out what we can about it..now. " elsa said..moving along.." come on fallow me it's go to be around here."

soon all three of them took off running down the hall in hopes to find out were this monster was keeping their friends...

Miss grimwood and matches were still searching around the school..she fallowed matches as he continued to smell the ground..apparently fallowing some trail..he did this until he came to the spot where the three ghouls had their encounter with the mirror monster..,he then began circling around the area as miss grimwood just watched him do so..

" Matches have you found something here ? " she said placing her hands on her hips..

matches then stopped and looked up at the ceiling..he then began smelling the air..he turned over to miss grimwood and began speaking in his dragon gibberish..

" as..so something has happened here huh ? " she said looking around..that's when she then notice the imprint in the wall the mirror monster left behind..one that of course to her looked liked Elsa..

" oh my..what in earth have these girls been doing ? " she said observing the wall..." I tell these girls to not rough house..just look at the size of this hole..I don hope they are okay though. " she said..

matched then tugged on her dress trying to show her something..

Miss grimwood looked down then over to what he was pointing at..she then could see a lot of claw marks that that went up the wall...

" oh...my indeed..what ever has caused that ? " she said knowing that none of her ghouls are capable of such a thing..though she had to admit she seem winnie claw up a few things before..but never to that extent..and she'd
never be able to reach those heights..

" matches then mumbled to himself as he and miss grimwood both looked around..

" come one matches ..something bad is going on here..I can feel it. " she said as she made her way down the hall. while matches began smelling the ground again...
