~*Author's POV/3rd POV*~

At the bottom of the pool, Wuxian and Wangji could feel the energy flow through their bodies. Wuxian had some issues as of late when it came to his cultivation. He lacks strength but mostly he lacks confidence. This place under the pool seemed to have caused Wuxian to feel something alive in him again. Despite being able to call the dead, he can feel the warmth in his body again. He lacked that before entering this secluded area. It's like the energy had been lost but he gained again just by being there.

As for Wangji, his connection to Wuxian seemed to have changed. He could feel his emotions more, read his thoughts, and understand his feelings. He could feel Wuxian was getting his strength back.

So he really did have an issue before. The resentment and spiritual energy in his body were clashing too much, Wangji thought.

Now as the two are at the bottom of this pool, they begin a new set of training. It still consists of practicing swords and meditation, and strength, endurance, agility, and energy training. The flow of energy was soothing and it helped relax Wuxian a bit more and helped him focus on his issues.

The reason for both him and Wangji being together in this secluded training, is to help strengthen their bond. They understood that dual cultivation was also important within this training as it helped keep them both in tune with the other.

Wuxian began to find his purpose again. He had Wangji with him, and he knew he could do anything as long as Wangji was beside him. He now understood why Baoshan had them come to this place. The more the two trained together, the more they began to understand each other's flows and strengths. How to counter them. They began to move in sync and learn a new form of communication. Their bond was stronger than ever and they only had to look at each other to understand the other's intentions.

After one of their dual cultivation sessions, they both discovered that they reached a new level of cultivation. They were no longer just simple cultivators, they were immortals. This was the key to getting Wuxian's name cleared. They had many plans and they were going to find out who framed him.

The two were currently resting. They sat on the ground after a long spar session. Wuxian laid back on the ground and let out a loud sigh, "that wasn't too bad," he said.

"Mnn," Wangji nodded, "are you tired?"

"Not really, but I just need to catch my breath. Who knows how long that spar went on for," Wuxian told him.

"No idea," Wangji said, "but being here has been very helpful."

"How long have we been in here anyway?" Wuxian asked.

"Not sure, but I think it's been a while," Wangji replied.

Wuxian nodded. As he relaxed there on the ground, his vision shifted and he began to see things. He saw the back of a man dressed in Jin Sect robes and then another man with what looks like Lan Sect robes but with different motifs embroidered on them. The two were both in what looked to be in a temple. Wuxian clearly saw Lan Xichen sitting on a mat on the floor, and Jiang Cheng was also there, but he was bleeding.

When Wuxian got his vision back, he quickly sat up and looked around, "what was that?" He asked.

"What?" Wangji asked.

"You didn't have that vision?" Wuxian asked.

"You saw a vision?" Wangji questioned, "what about?"

"We were in a temple and Jiang Cheng and your brother were there too. There were two other people but I didn't see their faces. I do recognize one from behind but not the other. One looked to be like Jin Guangyao, but the other...he had on robes similar to Gusu Lan, but the motifs were different," Wuxian explained, "it was all so muddled together I didn't understand much about it...but I do think it was trying to tell me something."

Wangji nodded, "is there anything else that stood out?"

"Your brother's spiritual energy looked blocked and Jiang Cheng was bleeding, like he had a fight with someone. I don't know how he could fight without a core anymore," Wuxian explained.

"Perhaps he gained a new one after he understood some things that you went through. Baoshan did say that he'd get a new one if he could prove himself," Wangji said.

Wuxian nodded, "did I see something that is yet to happen, or is it something that we can prevent from happening?"

"It's possible," Wangji answered, "but it's hard to say for sure. If you have other visions like this, please tell me."

Wuxian nodded and rubbed his hand over his forehead, "I will."

"It will be alright, Wei Ying," Wangji said.

"Do you think Jin Guangyao has something to do with framing me?" Wuxian asked.

"Honestly, it might be possible," Wangji answered, "now that the two heirs of the Jin Sect are dead and Jin Ling only being a baby, Jin Guangyao is the next in line to take over the sect if something happened to Jin Guangshan."

"Your brother could be in trouble," Wuxian said.

Wangji sighed, "he is Jin Guangyao's sworn brother. Xiongzhang worries more for him than he does for me anymore. I'm sure you have noticed that before leaving Cloud Recesses."

"He must have lost his way," Wuxian said, "I feel he wouldn't just turn his back on you over someone else. Maybe he is being manipulated."

"It's a possibility, but even is so, I cannot forgive him so easily. He tried to marry me off to someone else. I refuse to accept any sort of apology from him right now," Wangji said.

"And you have every right to," Wuxian agreed and took his hand, "it's his loss. Maybe one day he will come to understand his mistake."

"It might be too late by then," Wangji said.

Wuxian nodded but didn't say anything. It was hard to say whether or not Lan Xichen was being manipulated or not but Wuxian can't forgive him that easily either. Maybe they will find out more if he had more visions like the one he had.
