Wen Ning was resurrected. He not only had his soul back, but he was literally brought back to life. He was no longer the fierce corpse that was made due to my help. He was back to his normal human self, and he was going to remain at Baoshan's mountain as it was the safest place for him. He could also learn a lot from her as he was actually still quite young. I was happy for him.
After some time to recover, Lan Xichen returned to Cloud Recesses to help clean up the mess he made. He would be spending some time in seclusion to repent but I think I can forgive him. He has suffered enough. He was manipulated and I think instead of repenting, he should focus on bettering himself.
As for Lan Zhan and me, we were at our own space within Baoshan's mountain. We have come to like living here. It was peaceful and we could go to any place we wanted when we wanted. It was just nice that we could go places and I was no longer a target.
My name was cleared and that was all that mattered to me. Lan Zhan and I had a good future ahead of us and I was very excited about it.
