Today was the day. I was scared but it needed to happen. This has gone on long enough and Nie Huaisang wants justice too. Lan Zhan and I are already wearing invisibility talismans as we entered the Jin Sect. We had to place a new one on every couple of hours or the effects will fade. Lan Zhan and I want to remain hidden for a while to see what happens. Baoshan was wearing a disguise and stood beside Jiang Cheng and a couple other disciples. Lan Zhan and I stood off to the far side where we could see and hear everything but if the talismans wear off, they couldn't see us. I doubt we need to use a second one but there is no telling yet.

The meeting started shortly after everyone arrived. An invisible barrier was placed over the hall to keep people from leaving. As the meeting took place, Lan Zhan and I walked around to look over everyone. We wanted to see if anyone suspicious stood out. I soon stood behind Zewu Jun and I could feel there was something wrong with him. I then noticed a nail pierced in the back of his skull. It was a nail used to try and manipulate someone to another's bidding.

Luckily, Lan Zhan and I could communicate through telepathy so I called out to him. Once noticed we knew we had to get it out of him. I then realized that something else was wrong, the only way for a nail to pierce the skull is if the person was dead first and they were risen again, similar to Wen Ning but he didn't need anything to help him like Zewu Jun did. I knew how to fix it though.

"Lan Zhan, you should know that for someone to do this, they need to be dead first," I said to him.

He glanced at me and his eyes began to water, "I haven't seen him since that day, I never knew," he told me.

"I can help him, but we need to get whoever is controlling him dealt with first. It will cause a disturbance if we pull the nail out now," I explained to him.

"I trust you," he said.

I nodded. I felt pain in my heart as I knew Lan Zhan was hurting right now. I had a feeling Jin Guangyao did this and I was going to stop this now. I walked over to him as he walked around the head of the room. I then sensed it, he had a Yin Hu Fu. I grinned knowing I could call it out and override it. Using my abilities, I linking onto the metal, making it fall onto the floor for everyone to see.

"You have a Yin Hu Fu?" A Yao disciple asked.

"What have you been up to?" Another disciple asked.

"I always knew you were a son of a whore, never took us is seriously!" A Jiang disciple said.

I noticed that was a trigger for Jin Guangyao. Before he could use that metal on someone, I pulled all of the energy out of it and made it burst into dust. Everyone's faces froze at the sight. Zewu Jun then closed his eyes and slumped down.

"Xichen?" Lan Qiren called out.

"Is he dead?" A Nie disciple asked.

Lan Qiren stiffened at the claim and went to check his pulse. His hand pulled back the moment he touched ice cold skin. Tears fell down his face, "I'm sorry my dear nephew, why did you have to suffer?" He asked hugging Xichen.

Lan Zhan and I came out of hiding as we knelt beside him, "I can help him, you saw how I helped Wen Ning, his conscious will come back if you want me to help, or I will respect your decision to let him rest peacefully," I told him.

"I can help him," I heard a woman say.

Baoshan came out of her disguise and walked over to us, "I have a way to get his life back, don't worry," she said, "I promise."

"Thank you," Lan Qiren said and set Zewu Hun down on his back and closed his eyes. He then stood up and turned to Jin Guangyao, "you did this!"

"Perhaps, but Wei Wuxian is right there, it could have been him," Jin Guangyao said.

"It can't be possible," Lan Qiren said, "I knew they were alive for years and I know he would never harm my nephew. He lived under the protection of his grandmother and my youngest nephew."

"Perhaps the Lan Sect is too corrupt to know the truth," Jin Guangyao said.

"You killed your father and Chifeng Zun, so it won't surprise me if you killed Zewu Jun," Nie Huaisang spoke up, "you were also responsible for the ambush that got Jin Zixuan and Jin Zixun killed."

Whispers started to spread throughout the hall. Jin Guangyao was starting to get backed into a corner. I grinned and used some abilities to keep him from running.

"Thank you Dear, but I got this," Baoshan said as she took over.

I stood by Lan Zhan and just enjoyed the show. I turned to Lan Zhan eventually as I felt he was doing okay, despite the guilt he was feeling, "don't blame yourself," I told him.

"I know, I just wish I saw it coming," he said.

"We should have suspected something but we were busy training and keeping ourselves hidden," I said, "Baoshan will help him. I will too if I am needed."

"Can you remove the nail?" Lan Zhan asked.

I nodded and knelt beside Zewu Jun. I turned his head and pulled the nail out of his head. I checked to make sure he didn't have anymore but I only found one. The more nails the more difficult it was to control. I guess Zewu Jun was an obedient corpse. I'm not surprised based on his personality.

"-He is alive," I heard Meng Yao say. I was brought out of my thoughts when he repeated his words, "Wen Ning is alive. He is in the dungeon."

I suddenly felt so angry. The room began to tremble, "you had him this entire time?" I asked.

"My father wanted to examine him, but I kept it to myself," Jin Guangyao said.

"Let me take you," Lan Zhan said, "I know where the dungeons are."

"Be careful," Baoshan said as she suspected a trap.

I was well aware of that. I needed to know if he really was telling the truth, that Wen Ning was still alive.
