Chapter Three Free Frozen Yogurt and Surprise Party.

April's POV

Schools out for the day I walk home with Cara because she only lives a few houses down from mine. I see her waiting outside for me where she always meets me. I walk out to her fast.
"I did something." we say at the same time.
"You go first." I say quickly
"So today in history Jc asked for advice about a girl who has a bad impression on him. He said it started with. A C. I thought it was me and he said 'no ew i like Chloe Black if it were up to me you'd be dead' So I went to the bathroom and cut myself 4 times until stupid Chloe came in. I mean she's nice and everything but I hate her now." She says looking down at her feet.
"Oh my god let me see." I say empathetically
"Hold on I have band aids on." She says slowly taking off one band aid.
"Did you go to the nurses office?" I ask
"Hell no. Are you crazy?!" She says taking off the last band aid.
I look at her wrist. I'm so sorry.
"It isn't your fault." Cara says with a sad smile.
"Can I tell what happened to me?"
"Absolutely" she says putting on new band aids.
"So today in biology class I had it with Kian we're partners and he got my name wrong and I corrected him and he said ' whatever it doesn't matter neither do you now go kill yourself thot. So I went to the bathroom and cut myself 7 times." I say.
"Wow I'm sorry I couldn't of been there for you." Cara says frowning. "They aren't deep are they?"
"Kind of" I say looking at the ground.
"Come on let's just go home okay?" Cara says putting her hand on my shoulder smiling.
"Okay." I say.
As we're walking home a car slows a down by us.
"Hey whores." Kian says
"What's up mother fuckers?" Cara says loudly.
"Hm nothing really." Jc says
"I like how you act like nothing happened today Jc." Cara says sassily.
"Nothing did a slut just thought that I liked her." Jc said shrugging.
"Damn. All of that went down in history?" Kian asks.
"Yeah usual for a dick." I say like a smart ass.
"Okay well nice talk with you too today." Kian says with a fake smile.
"At least we aren't a couple of fags trying to become famous making YouTube videos." Cara yells getting upset after she said that they stopped and backed up.
"At least we have lives." They say throwing frozen yogurt at us and speeding off.
"Nice." I say sarcastically high fiving her.
"Can I hang out at your house? My moms boyfriend is there." Cara asks me.
"Yeah sure. Is it Forrest Grump?" I ask laughing.
"Yeah" Cara sighs.
I mean he has the same characteristics as him, talks like him, has a boat like him. But definitely no war hero. He'd save himself in a dangerous situation.
"Worst part my mom knows I hate him." Cara says in a wtf voice.
"Don't worry I hate my moms too, he ate my chocolate." I say in a serious voice
Cara starts laughing her ass off.
"Wow chocolate? The worst thing you're worried about is chocolate? Oh April you're crazy." Cara says still slightly laughing.
"Yes this is sewious." I say
"Okay tell him to get you more chocolate then." Cara suggests.
"See it isn't that simple Cara." say jokingly holding my forehead trying to hide my giggle.
"Okay whatever were at your house." Cara says walking up on the steps.
I unlock the door and a lot of people jump out and scream surprise.
"Holy shit." Cara whispers super quietly.
"Happy birthday April!!!" My mom says looking at me "Why are you two covered in yogurt?"
"Long story." Cara explains.
"Alright then." mom says.
"I'm gonna run home and shower real quick." Cara says walking out.
