Chapter 13

A few weeks later and Violet is doing a lot better, she sent Mia and Marjorie money for the groceries and that got her a phone call from a red head saying she didn't need to send them any money, but she lost that argument very quickly when Violet pulled out her CEO voice on the red head. Violet made sure that she went home every night and slept in her bed and made sure she was eating, Charlotte was proud of her sister on the changes she made to make her life more functional for a human being, she understood some nights that her sister would work late but went home and just worked from home that day. Violet had even sent a new rule to all her staff that included every employee that the building will be locked up Friday 5pm and wouldn't be open till 7am Monday morning, she made sure her employees understood that no work is to be conducted on weekends and all work phones are to be left in the staff lockers or their desk draws she also made them aware that this rule included herself and up staff members she stated that the weekend was for the staff to be with their loved ones and spend time with them. All her employees seemed to love this rule and made sure they stuck to it.

Violet and Autumn have also gotten closer as well and had a few home dates of watching films and just talking, they agreed to keep things slow and not inform anyone that they have been on 'dates'. However, tonight Violet had set up a surprise date for Autumn, she had made a reservation's at Cucina Verde well she told Gabby she wanted a table in the secluded area for the evening and to set it up all romantic. On top of that she had sent Lucy to the nursery to drop off an outfit for Autumn and could wait to see Autumn in the outfit, she had told her that she would pick her up from work and not to take her car and asked her sister to pick up Autumn for her, who agreed but didn't know why she needed to.

Violet left her office at 3pm and left the building leaving her work phone in her desked locked and told Lucy thank you for taking the package for her to the nursery, she arrived home and it actually felt like home, as she walked through the apartment she noticed that some things of Autumn's have been dotted around like a book or jumper left on the couch, she smiled to herself and went to take a shower, and get ready to take Autumn out for the evening. She got out the shower and walked over to her wardrobe and knew what outfit she was going to wear, she quickly grabbed her off the shoulder deep navy dress and got her matching thong, she couldn't wear a bra with this dress, she quickly got her makeup done completing the look with her signature red lip and did her hair pin straight and let it flow down her back, she looked at the time and saw she had to leave very soon, she slipped her 3 inch navy blue heels on and quickly went down to where her cars where parked and went with her deep navy mustang, she rarely drove it but tonight it was the car of her choice, she quickly pulled out the garage and pulled onto the road, she made sure she had the Blue Carnations in her car and started to get a bit nervous but calmed down when she thought of the brunette who had captured her heart.

Whilst the day had gone quick for Violet, the day had seemed to drag for Autumn, she was confused when Charlotte had picked her up that morning but remembered that Violet had said she would pick her up after work and she looked forward to see the blonde. However; as the day continued it got more confusing for Autumn when Sorscha came in carrying a large box and said someone had it dropped of for Autumn before leaving. Autumn opened the box and gasped when she saw it was a black dress and there was a note on top of it that read 'see you at 5 my sweet, make sure to wear this' signed with V and a kiss, she quickly closed the box and looked up when Charlotte came in carrying a shoe box and handed it to Autumn before leaving, Autumn opened the box to reveal a pair of brand new Louis Vuitton heels in black she noticed they were in her size but this time the note said 'new dress = new shoes' she recognised the writing as Violets also it was signed with a single V and a kiss. The time to slow down for Autumn when it got to 4:30 but she left to change in the bathroom in the staffroom she carried the boxes in her arms getting confused looks from Marjorie and Reece who was talking in the hallway, but she ignored them and got changed into the new dress and loved that it fit her perfectly showing of her figure, she put the shoes on and looked in the mirror and she couldn't believe how perfect the outfit was, nobody in the nursery knew apart from Autumn, Mia and obviously what Violet did for a job and they were happy to keep it that way.

Autumn walked out the bathroom and threw her clothes in her bag and threw away the boxes in the trash before she walked back to the office and heard everyone gaps when she walked in, she realised that everyone was waiting for her to leave. They all walked out the building Autumn getting some looks and they see a deep navy mustang pull into the car park everyone saw it was the most recent model, everyone looked at Charlotte "don't look at me, Mia is at home with the girls" but she did know who the car belonged to though. Violet pulled into the nursery car park and pulled her car in front of where everyone stood and watched everyone look at Charlotte who just shrugged her shoulders, she grabbed the flowers and slowly got out the car feet first she was making this dramatic and she loved it, she climbed out the car and kept her back to everyone she could feel someone's eyes on her arse though and knew it was Autumn checking her out, she turned and looked up and everyone gasped when they saw who it was that climbed out the car. Everyone watched as someone climbed out and they saw a blonde-haired woman climb out and Autumn knew who it was and felt her throat get caught in her front because in front of her was a goddess in a off shoulder deep navy-blue dress and heels, she let her eyes wander to the arse of the person, the woman turned around and everyone gasped when they saw who it was, they realised it was Violet who got out the car.

Violet ignored everyone else and her eyes was only on Autumn who stood there looking like a supermodel, the outfit was perfect and she walked over to her and up the stairs to reach Autumn, she passed over the Blue Carnations and said "my sweet you look radiant, would you make me a very happy woman and be my date for the evening" Violet said and held her hand out for Autumn to take hold off. Autumn could keep her eyes of Violet and felt tears in her eyes, she felt like she was in a movie, she gently took the flowers from Violet and grabbed her hand "It be my honour to be your date this evening my Viola" she said using the nickname she came up with for Violet. Violet gently guided Autumn to the car and gently took Autumns bag and put it behind her seat when she opened her door and then helped her sweet into the car, before running around to the driver's side and nodded to Charlotte to say bye. Everyone watched as they drove off and Marjorie turned to Reece "why don't you do that" and Charlotte responded with "she's one of a kind my sister that's why" before walking to her car and going home to her family.

Violet quickly set off from the nursery and placed her hand on Autumns thigh who held it in place "thank you for the dress and shoes they are gorgeous my love" Autumn whispered to Violet who looked over at her "anything for my darling, tonight is all about us" she said to Autumn before pulling up in front of Cucina Verde and getting out the car and going round to help Autumn out the car and guided Autumn towards the restaurant, Autumn saw where they were and noticed that Violet was acting a bit different to when they came here last; she watched as they entered the restaurant as soon as a staff member saw Violet they rushed over and guided them to a separate part of the restaurant that was secluded so they had privacy. Autumn watched as Violet pulled out her chair before helping her sit down, and pushing her in to the table slightly before sitting down opposite to her, before they said a word a server brought over a glass of red for Autumn and a lemonade for Violet since she is driving "my love what is going on how come everyone seems to know what we want without saying anything to them and how come we don't have menus" just as Autumn finished Gabby walked over with an appetizers for them both without saying a word but nodded at Violet and left them to be.
