Chapter 42

Violet sat there processing what she heard before after a few moments she responds "WHAT" she screams down the phone "I'm on the way" Violet says and as her mum walks past "mum help me up" she says to her mum "Lucy, is Chris on the way or do I need someone to drive me" she asks her assistant "Chris should be there in five minutes" her assistant replies "thank you, I'll be there soon" Violet says trying to stay calm and hangs up the phone and sees everyone looking at her "I need to go to the office, there is a serious incident and I need to deal with it" Violet simply explains and walks over to where her wife is and gives her a kiss on the lips "I don't know how long I will be, but I'll try and keep you updated" she says and walks out the room and goes to the car that is now outside waiting for her. Violet got in the car and she was seething and couldn't wait to get a hold of the person who has done this, after 10 minutes of sitting in the car, she arrived at her building and storms in once she was out the car, she immediately sees Lucy stood with Siobhan "what happened" she asked as she got closer to them "we were waiting for you Violet but the security stopped them and they have pulled up the security footage but we wanted to wait for you to arrive" Siobhan says and Violet just storms off into the security room "play it" she simply says to the security, they watch the footage and Violet goes from mad to pissed when she sees one of her employees trying to steal a device that was being developed "where is this person now" Violet speaks dead calmly which raises alarm bells for Siobhan noticing the tone and how Violet was holding carrying herself "in one of the offices with a security guard" Siobhan explains and she had to move quickly to follow the very fast pregnant woman.

Violet slams the door open and she sees one of her heads of department sat in once of the chairs "you have one second to explain" Violet demands and looks at the man in front of her "i-i-I" the man stutters out in fear "as of today your contract and employment is terminated effectively immediately, you are not to step foot inside this building or any of the other buildings relating to Biocorp, you are to hand in your lanyard, security pass and office keys to me know and you have 2 seconds to clear your desk with Mrs Serpent-Clark and the security, GET OUT MY SIGHT" Violet says pissed and screams the last part feeling every emotion not helped by her hormones, she watches as Siobhan and the security guard take the employee leave the room and gets all of his belonging; Violet also leaves the room and heads up to her office, she had an email to write and she needed to try and calm down "Lucy tell Mrs Serpent-Clark I'm in my office" Violet tells her assistant as she walks past and heads for her office "I will Mrs Luthor-Knight" she hears Lucy reply. Violet reached her office and sat at her desk and loaded up her computer, she rubbed her back and belly feeling movements from the twins, when her computer was loaded she quickly sent a short but to the point email saying 'all employees MUST be in the conference room at 7am sharp tomorrow morning, in failure to comply the individual will be in a disciplinary with herself' and sent it to all her employees and sat back in her chair; she was sat in her chair falling asleep trying to get her head around that one of her employees would do this, she heard her door open and she opened her eyes to see Siobhan walking into her office "all sorted Siobhan" she asks the older blonde "yes Violet, he is off the premisses and here are the office keys" Siobhan says and hands over the keys she mentioned to the sitting blonde "thank you Siobhan, this is so fucked up Siobhan, why would he even do this or any employee would think this is acceptable" Violet says to Siobhan "I don't know Violet however I did get your email on my phone" Siobhan says and sits down in the chair that's in front of the desk "well they better turn up because if they don't they will be sorry" Vilet says and winces in pain, which Siobhan noticed "let's go, I've messaged Viv to meet me at your house" Siobhan says and gets up out her chair and walks around the desk to help Violet stand up "everyone is at ours so your both welcome to come in and see everyone" Violet says whilst standing up with Siobhan's help.

Both blondes leave the office and head down to where Chris was waiting for them, they got in and Siobhan noticed that Violet didn't look the best "Vi are you okay" Siobhan asked Violet who looked at Siobhan "yeah, just in pain my back is creasing and I'm hungry as well" Violet says close to tears and Siobhan wraps her arm around Violets shoulders and pulls her in for a side hug and Siobhan sees Violet close her eyes trying to stop the tears, Siobhan pulls her phone out and quickly messages Vivian who should be at the Luthor-Knight house saying 'tell Autumn that Violet is close to tears due to back pain and to get her food ready as she is hungry' before Siobhan locks her phone and puts it in her bag and turns to Violet when she hears the sniffles.

At the house everyone sat around talking and wondering when Violet and Siobhan would be arriving, they had greeted Vivian when she had arrived 30 minutes ago, they heard a phone ping and watched as Clodagh reaches for her phone and they heard a quiet 'oh shit' come from the woman "what's wrong" Sorscha asks her wife in concern "email from work, stating all employees must be in the conference room at 7am and it basically says if we fail to turn up it is a disciplinary with Violet herself" Clodagh basically sums up and everyone knew that it must not be good, if how Violet left and how she was talking on the phone "I wonder what happened" Charlotte says and everyone shrugged their shoulders and wondered the same thing. Ten minutes later another phone pinged at it was Vivian who reached for her phone and she quickly reads the text from her wife "hey Autumn" Vivian says to the woman "yeah Vivian" Autumn replies looking at the woman "both Bambi and Bon-Bon are on the way back to the house however Bon-Bon told me to tell you that Bambi is close to tears due to back pain and that she is hungry so to get food ready" Vivian says and as she finished the sentence everyone hears a knock and Autumn walks over and opens the door to see Violet's driver Chris stood on the other side "Mrs Serpent-Clark told me to come get you and the other Mrs Serpent-Clark" Chris explains and walk back to the car.

Autumn turns her head to the living room "VIVIAN, SIOBHAN WANTS US" she shouts, she hears hurried footsteps and sees Vivian jogging to the door and they both quickly walk to the car and Autumn opens the passenger door and they see a crying Violet being soothed by a worried looking Siobhan "what happened" Autumn asks Siobhan "her back is creasing her and after this evening I think she is overwhelmed" Siobhan explains and Autumn walks round to the other door and opens it "my sweet lets get you inside" Autumn whispers and her heart breaks when she hears a quiet "I want my parents and you" come from Violet who looks at her with a look of defeat "your mum is inside my sweet so lets go in and you can sit with her" Autumn says in an understanding tone to why Violet wants her mum, throughout the pregnancy Autumn had noticed that Violet calmed down for three people her mum, dad and Autumn but for all different reasons, Autumn calmed her down when she was angry or overwhelmed, her dad calmed her down when she was stressed or upset and her mum calmed her down when she wasn't feel good or in pain, and Autumn knew for Violet to want all three she must be feeling horrendous. Autumn helped her wife out the car and supported Violet as she walked up the driveway behind Siobhan and Vivian who had got out the car once Violet was out the car "hurts to walk Autie" Autumn hears Violet mumble "Siobhan grab Dan or Paul please" Autumn shouts to the blonde in front of her, who quickly runs into the house.

Everyone was talking and was waiting for Autumn and Vivian to return from where they were, but they turn to see Siobhan running in with Vivian behind her "Mr Luthor, Autumn wants you or Paul" Siobhan says a bit out of breath. Daniel looks up at the blonde "I'll go, Paul you stay here" he says whilst standing up and running to where his daughter and daughter in-law are outside "Autumn what's wrong" he asked when he saw Autumn supporting her wife and he noticed that Violet was holding her back in pain "Vi's in to much pain to walk, I would lift her but she won't let me" Autumn explained to him and he quickly walked over "Ettie can I lift you sweetie" he asked his daughter "it hurts papa" Daniel gently bends down and picks up his pregnant daughter and carried her bridal style in to the house with Autumn following behind "where do you want to go Ettie" he whispered as he stopped walking "my room please, I need to lie on my side not sit up or a bath" Dan heard Violet whisper and he walked up the stairs and carried Violet to her room and placed her on the bed and watched as Violet relaxed into the mattress "thanks papa" Violet mumbles and he watches as Autumn walks over and places Violets pregnancy pillow around her and sits next to Violet and rubs her back "you don't need to thank me, I'm going to go back downstairs okay" Daniel whispers and walks out and down the stairs "how is she Dan" he hears his wife ask "she's okay, Autumn is with her she is in pain with her back but she seems overwhelmed as well" Dan says and sits down next to his son before looking at Siobhan "Siobhan, what happened" Dan asks the woman "I can't say Mr Luthor" Siobhan says and Dan could tell she was telling the truth before anyone could ask anymore questions they heard footsteps on the stairs and they saw Autumn walk into the living room "Violet is asleep" Autumn says to them and sits down in the rocker they had in the living room and everyone decides to head home to let the pregnant woman sleep "any problems give us a ring" Claire says to Autumn before she left which Autumn agreed to and closed the door behind everyone and locked it all up before heading upstairs to her sleeping pregnant wife.
