Chapter 3

Thank you for all the reads and votes! I still have school but I am getting settled in! One of my teachers sounds like she's slurring her speech the entire time, so that's fun! So I should be able to update more often! I still don't know much about writing and I am writing on a phone, so spelling errors are more common. Please enjoy chapter 3!

Kohga's POV:

          We had done it. We had saved Hyrule, it felt strange, once we tried to destroy this land. Now we protect it? The Yiga plan to rejoin the Shekiah and share our power to become even stronger than before! The Shekiah have not been eating bananas as much, that will change. We plan to expand Kakariko village, possibly underground or in the area of the pillars!

The Yiga know much about the Ganon. So we will use this knowledge to protect and serve future generations. We are looking into how guardian tech could last so long, and seeing if we could do the same to the human body. We are cautious as there are not very similar, but it's worth a try!

Sooga has been helping me be healthier. We are not eating just bananas now! It's weird but, bananas are still important in our diet! I have been teaching Shekiah about our abilities and weapons. We have created a prototype Shekiah sickle, which can slice better, is more lightweight, and doesn't attract lightning!

We have also made peace with the Gerudo women. We agreed to let them have our hideout, however we can still use it. We need to be careful for any remaining malice, as Astor did spend a lot of time here.

We have changed our clothes, as well as the Shekiah, to a sort of purple. We decided on it because of red for us, and blue for them. Even though purple is a big part of their history and their village. We don't wear our masks anymore, but have new ones we use in case we need to conceal our faces. It has technology that allows it to have more protection, and a system that shows rank among the clan.

Time flew, it had been what, a week since the calamity was defeated? We had also been trusted so much to be placed as guards in Hyrule Castle! How would my mother and father feel, I wonder? We have taught guard and trainees in our in ways, minus any hate towards Hyrule.

There had been damage done to Hyrule, however with us, the Shekiah, and other races, it was finished in no time. Me and Sooga are now even considered champions! And Urbosa even told us what the thunder helm does! It protects you from lightning! We have considered making Shekiah replicas of it too!

We have even made prototype Shekiah slates! We and the Shekiah combined have made so many technological advancements! We should have been working from the start! We each know vastly different things, yet they are also connected, so together we have a huge library of connected knowledge!

We have started recording every advancement made, big or small! Even from different things, such as Zelda writing how she discovered and awakened her power, in case she passed earlier, like her mother. As we were coming up with this idea, Link bit his lip. He immediately got super embarrassed when he saw I noticed and looked at the floor.

We still have no idea how she awakened her powers! We know for sure it wasn't the work of the Yiga clan, alive or not. Zelda seems to know more about her powers and how she awakened them than she letting on, and forbidden anyone except for her descendants or close family to read the record.

We have even started praying to the goddess Hylia! Something we have not done in thousands of years! Terrako, while annoyingly cute, is very important. As he has blueprints and ideas stored in him! It's incredible!

Every Yiga member was tired of our old lifestyle, and I must say that the new lifestyle is undoubtedly better! We contribute so much and it feels awesome to be helpful! Sometimes we still butt heads with the Shekiah. Some still don't trust us, and some of us don't trust them. But we are working on it, and understand the other's
distrust.

We have done so much, learned so much! About ancient peoples, and more about ourselves and our similarities! We learned we have so much in common with other people!

And yet I'm still wondering...

Thank you for reading chapter 3! You will have to wait a while for the Zelda and Link pov as I am unsure how to continue it! I feel there are a few ways I can go about it, and I want to make it good, or semi good at least.

Sooga and Kohga are not going to get together, if anyone wanted that to happen, I'm sorry. Also I thought about doing Miphvali, but decided against it. I instead made Jabu, taken from Jabu Jabu. He was the deity of the Zora in Ocarina of Time.

Most of the champions will probably not have love in their life, so Revali, Urbosa, and Daruk. And by that, I mean romantic love. Or maybe I will, I'm not sure. It's quite short but I hope you liked it! I also think Nebulace might come up with her third book soon! Fingers crossed, she is a big inspiration and makes really good stuff!
