Rhoam's POV:
I walked down that familiar red carpet, looking around at all the buzz around me. What would have become of here, had my daughter not saved us all? Would I even be alive? It was a very low chance.

I would be forever grateful, and remorseful for how I treated her, my own daughter. It might have been more painful for me than her. I tried and I tried, all for fear of losing her like my late wife. Every time I broke that glint in her eyes she got from messing with Shekiah Tech, another piece of my heart shattered.

Thankfully, she does not resent me, or at least she doesn't show it. I do know part of her does, I would too, in fact I already do. I do believe, however, that my heart is healing. I don't believe I properly grieved.

Maybe I should talk to someone about that... anyway, I wonder when Zelda would return from her trip. I tried holding back a chorus of laughter when she mentioned Link would accompany her, she seemed very confused by my knowing smirk.

I swear it's like they're made for each other, and I'm pretty certain their hands fit perfectly into one another. They are like separate jigsaw pieces, incomplete until the other comes along.

I didn't really have a destination in mind, perhaps the library? I had been reading only official documents recently, perhaps I try reading for pleasure again? I had given it up after my wife passed, as the books reminded me of her.

Certainly in the past I couldn't handle that, but perhaps I could now? It didn't have to be sorrowful, but more like a celebration of her. She had always been adamant that I read more. She read more books than the scribes and scholars combined!

Perhaps even faster!

I let out a chuckle at this, which the serves and maids around me seemed shocked to see. The older ones seemed to be happy, and the younger surprised. This made sense. The older must not have heard a real laugh like that since before the funeral, and the younger had almost certainly never heard it!

Alright, it was settled, to the library I would go. Luckily, the path was quite straightforward. I just had to head right at this turn. What did I even like? I recall liking fantasy, a particular series took the cake.

I don't recall much, but something about a kingdom that needed to be saved from an ancient evil. How fitting. After taking the right, I saw the familiar bookshelves and stairway. I believed it would be on the upper left, so there was no need to go down the stairs.

As I got to the shelf, I realized the first one was not there. I suppose someone had checked it out. I had to start at the beginning, as context was very important for that particular series. There did appear to be a different version, by some fan of the series I suppose.

I picked it up, hoping there would be no spoilers. It was a deep carmine color. 'No spoilers for the series! It does, however, contain the characters and some minor story things' that was rather... informal for a book in this library. Anyway, it appears my prayers were answered, and it does not matter anyhow.

It appeared to be the main two characters, I could not find any traces of the other on the cover. I would just have to read it, but when I got to the first page, I quickly discovered it was one of... those books.

My eyebrows almost shot off my face in surprise. I quickly put the book in its slot with a face redder than the book cover. I wasn't aware there were books like... that. Well, that was not completely true, as I heard of books like that.

I was pulled from my surprise when I heard the voice of a familiar royal attendant. "Let's take him to Purah and Robbie to try to understand him," she said. This was intriguing. I had to follow her and see what she was up to.
